Baklava plus — Restaurant in West Lafayette

Astonishing owners. It was the time of their meal, iftar in Ramazan, and they treated me with Ash (middle eastern vegi soup) and rice and salad with okra stew. All so yummy. Now about what they sell. They sell stuff you need and maybe you can find some where else in Lafayette and things you cannot find at all. They have great sweets and ingredients like Kashk and baba ghanooj as well as lavashak, dates, sabzis, and lots of halal meat and fish and so on. Besides these products they bring sweets themselves not a mass product one. Sweets made with love care and full of flavors. Very fresh and extremely tasty. Delicious Food & Amazing Baklava!

I stopped by Baklava Plus in Lafayette, and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely amazing. I got a bowl with shawarma beef, chicken, falafel, and rice, and everything was so flavorful and fresh. The beef and chicken were perfectly seasoned, the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the rice tied everything together so well.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying their famous baklava, and it did not disappoint! It was flaky, buttery, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Easily some of the best baklava I’ve ever had.

On top of that, the staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. If you’re in Lafayette and craving some great Mediterranean food, this is the place to go! I’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I happened to wander in here last night to check the place out. We aren’t in this area often so we didn’t even know the store existed, but man I’m glad we do now.

We went in and were immediately greeted by a very friendly woman. The store has a nice selection of middle eastern foods and snacks. But the star of the show is of course the Baklava. I got a 7-flavor sample container ($7.99, a very fair price) and every flavor I’ve tried from it is delicious. Not exaggerating when I say this is the best baklava I’ve ever had. Looking forward to going back and trying more.
