Delizia Pizza — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I will NEVER come back to this disgusting establishment again. As I walked in there was no greeting which I thought was bad customer service but did not say anything. As I looked at the menu another customer walked in and was greeted and told the daily special. I never heard there was a lunch special but overlooked it and asked may I order it. She informed me there was an additional cost for pepperoni which was fine .As I stepped back I saw a man (THE MANAGER) in the corner eating pizza and drinking soda. He wiped his hands on his apron, stuck his bare hands in the pepperoni's and put it on my pizza and stuck it in the oven. No hand washing? No gloves? Nothing. I immediately asked for a refund and when he gave me the refund he threw the money on the counter and did not acknowledge me. I looked at him and told him I thought it was very nasty that he was eating, drinking, touching money and his cell phone and then wiped his hand on a dirty apron he had been wearing all day and go directly to fixing my food bare handed .He threw his hand up and walked away. Great pizza and great wings. Very odd that they don't have celery but whatever. I would suggest if they are going to close the store that it would be professional to leave a nice message like; "thanks for calling and happy Easter, we are currently closed for the holiday, Hope you have a great day we will be open tomorrow, yada yada." Instead they let the phone ring endlessly without any indication of what's going on, very annoying. Besides that they have good pizza, but customer service can absolutely kill or make a business, hope they keep up. The competition in this area is all about customer service, hardly has something to do with the product anymore. Everyone works hard and wants a little respect when they get out of the work week and expect that when ordering out. Anyone can bake a frozen pizza but it's the delivery experience or sitting in a restaurant that makes a huge difference. Hope they hear this and get some...

I cant believe all the wonderful reviews. First of all it took over an hour to get out food delivered and we are 2.8 miles away from the pizza place. (sunday night at 7, not peak dinner time) My husband got pizza which was ok nothing great but nothing bad. The cheese seemed to be low quality (like frozen pizza) half of his pizza was thin and half had a much thicker crust. I ordered zitti with chicken and broccoli in garlic and oil. It was horrific! The pasta was so soggy I couldn't pick it up with my fork it would fall apart. Same thing with the broccoli! It seems like they boiled it for 30 minutes it was brownish and crumbling. It didn't taste like Garlic and oil, it was more like a really salty chicken broth and there was so much it was more like a soup then a pasta dish. Good Italian food is hard to come by in west palm beach (especially being from NY) but we will definitely being trying somewhere...
