Chips and salsa were great as we waited. Dinner was done quickly and we didn't have a long wait. It wasn't ridiculously priced for a family of 4 to dine in. Very clean, service was friendly and the atmosphere was bright and colorful too. My steak for my burritos was seasoned well and tasted good. My plate had a huge chunk out of it (don't worry it wasn't in my food). I was never offered any dressing for my salad which was more like a pile of pizza toppings with a few shreds of lettuce under it but overall dinner was pleasant. I would dine there again. I look forward to trying other items they had on the menu.

A locally owned restaurant. The colors are vibrant. The food is hot and seems fresh. Service was fine. Locals rave about the service...which makes sense if you live there and they know you. We are used to TexMex....so this has a different flavor...but still good. We visit annually when in town. 3/2019: again, not friendly/upbeat greetings if you aren't local. Took a long time for a server to come to our table. The lunch fried chicken chimichangas was excellent (I found my new favorite) Remember it can be very busy at peak times.

I recently dined at Viva Mexico and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Arros Con Pollo, but it arrived overcooked and extremely watery, rendering the dish inedible. The chips were also a letdown—stale and greasy, making them unenjoyable as well. To add to the frustration, the restaurant did not offer any refunds or compensation, leaving us to find dinner elsewhere. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of time and money. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for other diners.

I want to make an extensive review. For good reason. Im going to separate it into different categories to be easier to follow. I have been here twice and this is my impression! I will be 110% honest. This review is for both times we've been, but mostly for our visit today on Sunday March 26th :) it's a lengthy review but worth reading I promise

Atmosphere: I love the look of the upstairs and the downstairs. Gorgeous colors and beautiful art work everywhere. Absolutely beautiful. I'd eat here any day. Downstairs is my favorite so far. I would eat there every time if I had a choice. I love the booths

Employees: Everyone here is so nice even when I forgot to ask for a million things they accommodated me. We were seated IMMEDIATELY upon walking in. That's unusual for quite a few places we've been to! Already great impression our second time here. I saw a nice lady here that I thought was a customer but she might have been an owner. Not exactly sure but seemed that way. She seemed very sweet and I could tell she cares about this place.

Food: AMAZING. We've gotten the chicken fajitas both times and I absolutely ate pretty much everything including the vegetables.... And I never eat the peppers and onions anywhere else! Delicious. Honestly I'm not a bean person and even those were good! You will miss out if you don't try them at least once.

Overall and other experience: We were seated immediately food was sizzling and delicious, we had great service, but... while waiting for the food we were seated near a child that started crying loudly (I have nothing against kids at all after all kids are very sensitive and it's not their fault) I am not good with loud noises. Due to health reasons. We don't go out much and when we do this situation comes up a lot wherever we go. Eventually the child calmed down. But I believe those without children should most times be separated from those without just as a courtesy. Although this is probably not something people think about in businesses. I think this would boost business sales. An alternative would be to have a crayon and coloring book with paper mat for the child I've seen doctors offices give children to calm them. Last time we had the downstairs to ourselves with nobody else and loved it. That's what made us come back! Once we got the food it was great, as I said earlier delicious, but then our server went missing. They had done such an amazing job with us. We were done with our food for at least 5 to ten minutes and were confused I will be honest.

Though when I found out the table left behind us after finishing their free chips and salsa I was more mad at that then our server going missing. Honestly very rude and disrespectful to the people here. I got up and ASKED for our check when we waited for so long. Politely. And they didn't think to do the same and ask for a server! If they were unhappy they should've spoken up.

In conclusion: As much as our second visit was bittersweet, it was still delicious and they instantly brought us the check when I asked politely and our server came back. I was topped up on my tea and if the child had not been upset everything would've been perfect. This experience hasn't stopped me from coming back. I can tell the owners work very hard to get good food to us. Thank you so...

I do NOT get the fascination with this place. I have the feeling that all the local Mexican food places are owned by the same people because the offerings are all the same and the seasoning and flavors are all the same. That said the seasonings and flavors are boring and bland. Same same same. Their alcoholic drinks that I've had have always been a weak pour, too.

The service is mediocre at best and the atmosphere is... colorful. Since Covid, they've adding a new wrinkle to their below-average fare... UBER EATS!! Through Uber Eats, they charge a much higher price for their food and the order is ALWAYS WRONG. Seriously, it makes no sense to me how you get a written order and you still get it wrong. Half the time, you get no beans and rice with your entree and the other half the time you get much smaller portions than you do in the restaurant and there is always a main component missing.

Unless you are just absolutely desperate for something vaguely Mexican to eat and your car breaks down right outside the restaurant, I would skip this place. We won't be visiting or...

I went to this place today on 9/20/21 and was greeted by the owner with huge smiles love and laughter until I told the waiter that margaritas tasted like dishwash detergent. I ordered a pina colada margarita and was horrible . When I told the waiter that I didn’t wanted because tasted awful he asked what happened ? (Very defensive) I explained the reason and asked him to bring me another flavor :strawberry and it tasted as bad as the previous one. Then the owner came to the table upset because she didn’t understand what was wrong and justifying herself that no one before turned back her margaritas . When I told her how they tasted she took it offensively and basically wanted to insinuate that I shouldn’t complain because I was the first person complaining about the margaritas that she made herself. I proceeded to let her know how bad they tasted and that I didn’t like her tone or approach and she left the table then no more huge smiles or love. So if you go to this place be advised the owner doesn’t...
