Koko Teriyaki — Restaurant in Westpark

In my previous review I praised this place and also mentioned i hope the quality or nothing else would change and not to my surprise as I have seen this happen so much with new restaurants as well as restaurants under new ownership and well long story short the first couple bowls i ordered had way more protein and way less rice... now when I order i still have a bowl of rice after I finish my chicken ... the ratio is way off.... and the chciken doesn't seem to be as good in the evening as it at lunch.

Also, they include this miso soup on to go orders which is really not that great and the containers they use for this miso probably cost 10x as much as the miso soup itself.... let's get rid of the miso and add instead bulk up the bowls by just a little bit to make them great! That's my 2 cents.

Also I forgot I have ordered here maybe 3 or 4 times now in 2 weeks and every time I get a different sauce' from pickled cucumbers to a picey teriyaki paste to kimchi... they won't seemingly give you teriyaki sauce unless you ask for it.... no need for kimchi I would ask to just include teriyaki sauce and let people request the kimchi or paste or pickled cucumbers instead of the other way around.

Yes I certainly did. And I have had lots of teriyaki over the years... this is top shelf teriyaki!

I hope(i should pray actually its so damn good) that this new teriyaki spot stays around and keeps up this same exact quality of chciken bowl that was borderline mesmerizimg (that might be a tiny stretch) but yes it was just that damn good and delicious....

I will eat here at least at least once (if not twice or 3 times) a week if the quality stays this legit.

This place is fantastic! My go-to is the teriyaki chicken bowl, which is always excellent. The chicken and rice are perfectly cooked, served hot, and clearly fresh—you can tell they haven’t been sitting around. It comes with some pickled veggies on the side, and they definitely don’t skimp on portions.

Also want to share a recent experiance. I had a previous order that was unexpectedly canceled, which was disappointing at the time—but Koko Teriyaki completely turned the experience around. On my next order, they included a free soda (even though I really don't drink soda) without me even asking. It was a small gesture, but it showed they truly care about their customers and pay attention to the details.
