I only visited Nirvana's other location once, but remembered some great food. When I saw them open a location in Blue Bell, I expected great things. Happy to report they more than deliver!
We typically order a starter and two entrees along with maybe a naan. That is more than enough to satisfy and occasionally leaves a half meal worth of leftovers. For starters, I really recommend the eggplant dish. It is easier to share vs the vegetable samosas (also good) and is just a really unique dish imo.
For entrees, I usually go with something lamb. I cannot say I have a favorite as they all have been good. Always pleasantly surprised by the amount of protein included in the entrees. Regarding naan, I only go Peshwari. Yes, there garlic naan is good to, however, I love the sweetness of the Peshwari and how it balances my dishes.
Service is amazing. They can (and are happy to) customize the spice level. I'll be honest, I typically go mild! Finally, like their other location, the blue bell spot has plenty of seating and very clean. ...

We love the Vegetable Samosas, Gobi Manchurian, Chana masala, chicken Tikka kabab, lamb kofta masala, chicken saag and Nann basket selection of garlic naan, aloo paratha, and poori. We've also enjoyed other curries.
Frankly with so many great dishes, it's hard to go wrong. We usually order extra dishes so that we can have our favorites and try new ones and have some to take home as leftovers.
Staff here are amazing; Nabin is a truly gracious host, one of the best. The ambiance is classy, modern chic with linen napkins and gentle but sufficient lighting, with quiet instrumental background music. We come here regularly and it's become one of our favorite places.
BYOB. Reservations are a good idea but not a requirement. Outdoor seating when the weather allows. Fyi the front door can look dark and sometimes feels like they are not open, but pull strong on...
Read moreI am so happy to find Happy Grover and Nirvana again!! We have followed Happy who is the most gracious, friendly, courteous and attentive asset to any restaurant I have ever dined in. I have not seen him since Nirvana was near Collegeville and had been a patron at every restaurant he has worked at for probably 10+ years. Nirvana was the best Indian restaurant in the area, so our family was so disappointed when it closed years ago. I never knew it re-opened in Blue Bell until dining with a colleague recently. The whole experience did not disappoint. From the best Mango Lassi ever (and I didn't even have to ask, Happy remembered (after not seeing me for 3 years) and brought them to the table) to the tastiest tangy eggplant, Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma, Saag Paneer, Chicken Kabob, Poori, Naan and dessert - wow! We will be forever customers again. Thank...
