(OWNERS DISCRIMINATE) I always go for their soups has the most flavor but they always mess up my order. Example giving me the wrong dish and they've given me raw uncooked crispy noodles, like completely raw, but like I said flavor is always on point so I overlooked the mistakes. Well this last time I went in ordered their Vietnamese spring rolls which I love at other places not so great here though so I completly didn't touch my plate and for this I asked not to get charged which is only right. Well the man proceeds to tell me "I need to know what I want before I order next time" so Inform him that I have tried spring rolls thousands of times I just didn't like theirs so then he responds and says "well it cost us money " I said this is the price of running a restaurant not everyone is going to like everything and if they don't touch it at all it shouldn't matter. Well then this man says " It's not your type of food anyways so you don't know any better" .... Wow when I say it took everything out of me to not react very ugly to him. Little does he know I eat asian food more then any other. It upsets me that people have such closed minds. Especially as a business owner. It was too easy to just take the untouched food off of my ticket without saying any of that. I kept my cool paid for what I did eat but people please do not support a place that assumes our side races are clueless. It's 2018 I am a very diverse cultural person so screw this place even though their flavor is great in their Pho soup I won't ever...
Read moreWhen I go to that side of town, Thai Walzem was a TREAT... not anymore. They are under new management/ownership and what a lack of professionalism with the customer and the food is so so so bad that I decide to throw it instead of feeding it to the dogs.
I ordered online and the description of the plate (which I always get the same) and what I received was completely different. They gave me some BS excuse about "new management" and "you need to tell us that you want the old menu" excuse. How in the world are the customers suppose to know that there's a "new and old" menu when the website is not updated?
When I picked up the food, it was not ready. Im a patient and understanding that they might be behind on orders. After being there for 30 mins and no one gives me a reason about my food, of course I would get annoyed. Finally some rude lady demands that I showed her my order and throws the food at me. No "thank you for waiting", no "we apologize".
This is the description from the online menu and what I ordered. Green Curry Coconut milk, bell peppers, peas, eggplants, basil, and bamboo. What I got: green beans, zucchini, celery...
I feel scammed. I feel disrespected. Needless to say, the new management lost my business and this is a warning for everyone else that have not been...
Read moreI was really looking forward to a good meal and a 5 star review, but was sadly I was very disappointed. My friend and I decided to try them on a Tuesday afternoon about 4:30 pm. The restaurant was dead, we were the only guests there.
We ordered Thai Tea to drink and were served regular ice tea. For food we ordered dumplings and Chicken Satay to start. The dumplings were over-fried and hard to eat. The Chicken Satay (chicken on a stick) was fried to a crisp, dried out and hurt my teeth to eat. The Peanut sauce wasn’t served warm.
My friend ordered Chicken Larb (Chicken salad according to the staff) which had beautiful presentation but was weird in that it had peppers in it. This made it sweet not savory and that is not how traditional Chicken Larb is prepared.
I was craving Pad Thai and was sorely disappointed when it came out with crusty, dried out and off tasting tofu. The whole dish just tasted old.
When I decided to go to wash my hands the temperature in the bathrooms was 92°. Wow!
So, Instead of leaving satisfied I left not eating even half our food, bloated and nauseous. Sad to say I will...
