I'm just done with this company. Always something missing from my orders with this place or the quality of the food is weak. Or, it's both at the same time like today.
My family likes the food here. I could care less. I tolerate it and order what I need to make the food work for me. I paid $6 to add rice & beans to my order, for my meal. For me, if I don't have these items I won't eat your food because it needs to be smothered with stuff to make it worth your money. Anyone else shocked that it was not included with the order?
It's ALL overrated! -Queso? No, it's Velveeta (processed cheese food). -Steak? How do you get away with charging a premium for grissle? -Chicken? More like cartilage & rib meat (that's the hard bits you come across). -Beef? Just whatever. -Carnitas pork? Have fun with that seasoned pork fat! To Tijuana Flats Restaurants LLC, you know that this is 100% accurate.
*If you are too busy to verify an order is correct and has all items, you need to hire more people. Or, train as needed to ensure accuracy. It's just a few extra seconds for your customers satisfaction. (Tips to management, if you're unwilling to train and grow with your team, you need to find a different position, you are not cut out to be a leader).

After many trials & errors, I have officially given Tijuana Flats my last dollar.
To the company, good luck in your next endeavors, I will continue to enjoy watching as your stores close one by one.
To the people, if you work hard for the money you make. I would recommend spending it at a different place that will give you the quality & service that matches the prices.

Read moreAn intestinal infection is no joke! I have repeatedly tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt. They have gotten my order wrong multiple times, the presentation of the food has been pretty bad, the kitchen has let burnt burritos be packaged for my to go order (which I actually brought all the way back to the restaurant and showed to the manager because it was inedible, who then seemed to act like s%#t happens sometimes, here’s you money back. You would think that if a customer takes the time to come back to you and gives you the opportunity to make it right you would be sincere in you apology and try to at least offer to remake it and throw in something to make the customer feel like you are trying to save their business) so there is all of the minor stuff I have let slide. The big one is my most recent order, it took WAY too long to get the food which should have been a warning sign but I waited anyway. Once the food was consumed it only took about an hour before I began to have stomach pain. By the middle of the night I couldn’t leave the bathroom. It was terrible! This goes on for about 48hrs before I go to the Dr. who confirmed what I thought, food poising. I get some meds and go on a VERY limited diet per the Dr. Fast forward two weeks and things still aren’t right. I go to a specialist who tells me that food poisoning has now turned into an intestinal infection. More meds, more copayments, more tests. The specialist is now telling me that this may have caused permanent damage and I now have a form of IBS. Think carefully before patronizing this...
Read moreI have eaten at Tijuana Flats in winter springs a lot, it’s never been a great experience, but this time was the worst. The place was dirty, the floors were stinky and dirty, the staff wasn’t friendly, in fact they were rude and took a long time to come up and take my order, out of 4 staff members I could see all were busy drinking soda, standing around and no working. I finally was waited on and I ordered two orders of dos tacos and one large queso to go. I waited 20 plus minutes for them to complete my order, and when I got home with my order one of the boxes of tacos literally had nothing in the shells and both boxes had maybe 5 chips total in each box. I immediately called the store and told them abt this, and the manager got on the phone and says “I personally stood there while your order was being made and I know they were made right” then asks me “what do want, a refund, or the tocos made over” so I said “well, I want both since I drove all the way home and can’t even enjoy my food, now I have to drive all the way back “ she proceeded to be rude and just hung up on me. I’ll never eat here again, nor will my family or friends who all go there. keep the money and the tacos, I’ll eat next door at “Hughey Magoo” they always have great service, fresh food and fast getting it out to us.
