I am from out of town and sought this place out based on the good reviews - chose this over others. My experience was completely different from any of the reviews I read. The bartender was incredibly rude and impatient with me. It was my turn to order, I told him I’d never been here before, and that I’d love a “dealer’s choice” flight based on his recommendations. He threw his head back, sighed, and started writing down names of the cider. No real engagement, no explanation of the ciders, I didn’t even get a “hello” when I walked up - just pure, unfiltered annoyance. I ordered a flatbread with my flight, and again, I received a sigh and he barked at me “it’s going to be like 25 min. Take your number cuz I won’t remember anything”. Slammed down a number, then the flight of cider on the counter, turned the screen around so I could add a tip to the transaction, and then he walked away. Read moreLots of good cider choices! I really enjoyed the Sweet Aged and the Honey Pear. I don't typically like overly sweet ciders, but these two were both in the perfect sweetness range. I also tried the Thai Ginger and Watermelon...they were decent, but the flavors were not quite on point enough for me. The cidery has some seating inside, but it is a little cramped with the counter close by. For sunny days, there is ample seating outside. I went on a Saturday evening, and they were unfortunately severely understaffed. I felt bad for the one girl working alone, trying her best to juggle the never-ending line of customers, while also changing out kegs and trying to keep up on the large pile of taster trays and dirty glassware accumulating on the counter. She seemed a bit overwhelmed, and I'm hoping there is usually someone...
Read moreThis has become one of our favorite spots for a Sunday afternoon. The membership gets you a free flight or pint for you and a friend every time you visit, plus great deals on refills.
With indoor/outdoor seating, corn-hole, and a relaxed atmosphere, this place is family friendly enough for non-drinkers to feel comfortable without being overrun with small children. They do also have nonalcoholic apple juice on the menu for the little ones.
The menu is extensive and rotated frequently enough to maintain interest across repeat visits. While different guests prefer some flavors over others, the cider is high quality. Try the Thai ginger.
Bonus: The burger place across the parking lot will bring your food over, and Locust was fine with us eating it...
