This place was so much better than I expected! My mom kept telling me about their plantain nachos, so I went to try it out and Omg was it good!! The “nachos” are so unique to anything I’ve ever tried. My family is South American, so I grew up eating sweet plantains or “maduros.” This platter had the plantains acting as the chip, and on top of that was a delicious layer of flavorful, juicy carnitas and some type of coleslaw and Pico de gallo, with a side of sweet corn. It didn’t look great, but WOW-was my mom right! The flavors and combination was outstanding!! We also ordered the grilled chicken salad. Again, not expecting much, I can honestly say it was one of the Best salads I’ve ever had!! They literally grilled the lettuce and chicken, so the smokiness from the grill and flavors from the chicken were throughout the salad. It also had slices of apple, roasted corn, toasted pecans and cojita cheese sprinkled on top. These are all things I typically don’t even like in a salad-but it was SOOO good!! The entire meal was us just saying how amazing it all tasted! And the chips are dangerously easy to devour. They must be made in house along with the salsa, which is my favorite. The prices here are very fair and the quality is obvious. The hostess and waiter were very nice and did a great job checking in. I really enjoyed this meal and still think about it months later. If you’re looking for a laid back and unique spin on Mexican food-you’ll enjoy this for sure!!

I heard from a little bird that a good old friend was working there as a bartender. So, I decided to visit this place for the first time. I was in the neighborhood, and my stomach was asking for some solids. The rumors were true and the food was also good. It was not taco Tuesday, but I ordered a fish and a chicken taco dish. The refried beans like no other place. I liked them. I did not believed when Lou, the bartender, said that I was gonna get full when it was time for dessert. Thanks to the manager, Omar, for offering a little "pozole verde" to taste and his enthusiasm with all the customers. I may order some of it on my next visit. Thanks to all the employees who helped and made my visit be memorable. It was noticeable how they all executed the teamwork while I was there. I wish there was more lighting in the bar. I felt like eating in Batman's cave when I was sitting in there. To sum up, Lou is the best. I don't care what they say. It was excellent. Visit him on Wednesdays and Thursdays. (P. S. You should give him a raise..)

Tried this based on Google reviews and liked it. The service exceeded expectations with Zaria leading the charge and a cast of other players contributing to the experience. It is clearly a team approach. I ordered the La Neda which included a chicken taco and a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. It was served in like 8 minutes. The chips & salsa included fresh chips and smooth salsa with more cilantro than I usually get. The dinner was filling and a great value but the chicken in both items was cool in temperature and the rice was cold while the beans were warm. Seems strange since it came out so fast. I wonder if the plate was cold when the food was plated. All of the food could use a little more salt for my preference and there was known on the table. All in all a good dinner at a good price

It was terrible. It only deserved 1 star because the food was pleasant, otherwise it would have been 0 stars if I could. I usually do not give low star ratings, but this was definitely needed.

We had a larger party (8 people). When we arrived, our waitstaff was very helpful with helping us order and gave us time to make our food decisions.

Upon leaving, we requested split bills for our party. But they refused. Generally we would all be okay with this and pay each other amongst ourselves (zelle, venmo, etc) if we had known ahead of time. But before people jump the gun and say "well it's usually like this with large parties" or "you should have known", etc.. It's not that we should have known, I've dined at many places that that was the case, but this time, it was the rude staff and their umprofessionalism that gave them the low rating. The following is the synopsis:

What got me was they split the check for 2 people in our party of 8, which by all means made no sense if they said they don't split checks. On top of it, they should have told us in the beginning as we were seated.

When we brought this up to the hostess in the front. She said they couldn't do that and our waitress should've told us before we sat. Her reason why they couldn't split the check was because their boss did not want to pay the credit card fees. I immediately said that wasn't our problem, no one told us in advance, and yet 2 people from our party got split checks even though they were with our party.

Reluctantly, they split the check for us but the head hostess lady we spoke to, at the front, gave the worst attitude. She sat a single family of 4 right next to us and told them out loud: "oh by the way, we can't split your check." That was super unprofessional and completely unnecessary. I understand she got frustrated, but that was uncalled for. It was a single family, like why would they need to split the bill. Honestly she was rude but oh well, they did end up accommodated us regardless.

Overall, the food was pretty decent. My gripe was with the hostess who was completely unprofessional and rude. 1 star for the food. I wouldn't recommend this place for others with...

We ate at this restaurant A few times and liked the food. We decided to place a pick up order for my daughter’s birthday in April 2019. The person we spoke with and placed the order was George. Picked up and returned went well. We placed another order in October 2019, and was told pick up Orders were fully booked. The order was placed 2 weeks in advance. This time, I placed an order in early March for a birthday party in mid April- 6 weeks in advance. They couldn’t tell me that everything was booked, but they won’t confirm my order. Two weeks gone by, I still haven’t heard from them, I called and was told it’s on the manager’s desk. I waited one more week and still haven’t heard from them. I called and was told they have been busy and will get to it. A week later, we got the stay-at-home order. I still haven’t heard from them. I called and advise them we want to cancel the unconfirmed order. The receptionist seemed to know who I was and immediately said, sure. She didn’t even ask for my name or anything to confirm which order is being cancelled. I think they discriminate and don’t want to serve us. I hope this pandemic will teach them a lesson for...
