My Husband's friends wanted to go here for a Birthday celebration and I had never been. I wanted to see what kinds of things were on the menu before we went, so I could be prepared. When I went onto their website, the "Menu" option seemed to lead me into a broken link that didn't end up showing me any of the menu options. When we got there, our party was already seated, so we walked to the back of the restaurant where everyone was. We found a seat and sat down, but because it was so busy, it took the waitstaff a while to get over to us to even get our drink order, much less give us a menu. We made small talk with some friends and finally about 15 minutes later, a server came by and gave us menu's and took our drink order. He apologized for the wait when he brought the drinks. We ordered our food, I got a hamburger with fried egg on it, my husband got a hamburger with peanut butter on it. We each got tater tots, but I got sweet potato and he got regular. Again, we waited forever, probably 30+ minutes to get our food, which may not seem like a long time to some, but we were starving, so it seemed like a lot longer. Our food came, and it was very hot, a good sign they just made it. In fact, I had to wait quite a while to eat the tots because the first one burned the roof of my mouth a little. Haha, guess that's what I get for being so hungry. The burger I ordered was huge! It was sort of sloppy (it didn't stay together very well, and the bottom bun kept falling apart). I chalk that up the the fried egg and the yolk making things a bit more drenched than normal. It was delicious, but a lot of it I had to eat with a fork or my fingers (depending on when you looked over at me, lol). My husband said his burger was delicious as well, even though peanut butter on a burger sounds strange to me. One of our friends got a burger with ham, salami, and capricola on it, which also sounded really good to me. It was huge and looked amazing! He said it was really good, but there may be a bit too much meat on it. Either way, he ate it all, and left nothing behind. Pretty good sign he liked it. The tots are pretty unique, they are more like puffed tots and they are small, like little bites. They say you can share an order, but I'm one who likes my potato sides and this is not a size I would share. It was a perfect portion for one person. The sweet potato tots come with a cinnamon dipping sauce, the consistency of mayo, that is very sweet, it was an interesting taste to compliment my burger. I kind of liked the change from the normal. They have a variety of Bratwursts and Burgers to chose from, all with unique flavors and concoctions on them. They all sounded really good. I think your biggest problem is going to be choosing what you want to eat, because you're going to want all of it! Haha. I want to go back to try the meaty meaty burger. When we were leaving (the place was packed) I noticed there was a fire warming station outside at the entrance, which was nice because Michigan winters are cold and if there is a wait, you can crowd around and all stay somewhat warm. It also added a nice ambience outside.
