I've just got back from an amazing dinner at Lucia. I was a little worried when I arrived as the place was busy, but I liked the vibe and the menu looked great so I decided to stay. The staff mentioned the food might take 20-30 minutes, but it was served in 15.
The staff are really great, helped me decide. Didn't try the cocktails, but the ones I saw being made looked wonderful.
One small complaint, and it's not the restaurant's fault, but the waitress told me I had to pay an extra 250k (glad I was on my own 😂) as there was a show going outside. I explained that I couldn't give the slightest about any show and that I was sitting inside, but apparently one of the "higher ups" in Sunset Town has applied this rule to all of the eateries in the area. It's a ridiculous concept. People go to restaurants to eat, not watch some second-rate entertainment in the distance.
Anyway, the food was great and the service was extremely professional. Highly recommended to anyone...
Read moreLucia is exceptional. I can't think of a single criticism, everyone is so attentive and responsive to their customers who dine there. The atmosphere of their lights and their music is perfectly tuned to a relaxing drink and meal. Don't worry if relaxing isn't your cup of tea, because on Friday and the weekend the music turns to a club vibe where you can dance to your hearts content. Their bartender, Anh, takes care and is very skillful in her trade. They have many signature cocktails which she makes perfectly delicious everytime. Unfortunately I've only had the chance to sample two of their main dishes so far, but both were exquisite, delicious and aren't overly priced making it quite affordable to go back for seconds. Everytime I leave there, I'm left with a fully satisfied stomach and kind smiles wishing me a good evening. 10/10 I would recommend this restaurant/pub to anyone...
Read moreLucia is honestly one of the best experiences we had on the island. The food is exceptional – everything from the seafood to the pastas had a richness and balance that’s hard to find even in bigger cities. But what truly stood out was the shisha – smooth, flavorful, and easily the best we've had in Vietnam.
The ambiance is stylish yet relaxed, perfect for both a laid-back evening or a slightly livelier night out. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, without being overbearing – just the kind of service that makes you want to come back.
The only thing that leaves a bittersweet aftertaste is how quiet Phu Quoc has become. A place like Lucia deserves a bustling crowd, the kind of energy you’d find in a major beach town. It’s a world-class spot tucked away in a town that still feels undiscovered.
If you’re in Phu Quoc, don’t miss it – it might just be the highlight...
