Hello, from the U.S.! This place is much more affordable than most of the nightlife recommended by people we have met in Vietnam. The music is EDM and I don't know if there are none EDM clubs because everyone we went to played EDM.
When you arrive a worker will guide you inside and ask what type of table you like (standing or sitting). There is no entrance fee. When you walk in the entrance, the hallway into the club is so nice! The lights and tunnel vibe looks super cool. I will say though, this bar was not as cleanly (not disgusting by the way). The floors were fine but the tables the worker brought us too were covered in food and drink. The worker did clean them it was just surprising given most of the nightlife we had encountered was actually pretty well maintained.
The spacing was all alright, I felt removing some standing tables could open up the space and make it feel less claustrophobic. There isn't much of a dance floor but they do have a lit up dance platform in front of the DJ. Well the music was great and DJ did an amazing job.

So the club was great much rather the club goers...

My friends and I had a great time at the Hair of the Dog! We even left the club and went to another one, and then returned to Hair of the Dog again to end the night!
One of my friends also made an error in giving a bigger cash note when paying, but the staff returned it to him and informed him that "it's too much" and the "wrong note". We felt safe here and we had tons of fun with...
Read moreIf you're a foreigner like me they try to upsell you with fruit plates and big oversized jars of sugar packed punch that may or may not have alcohol 🤷.
Then they have their laughing gas balloons which who knows what they are filled with and they try to sell those too. I get that the pandemic really hurt their nightlife here and it still hasn't recovered so they're trying to get every dollar from you. It's good to support the bars but highly doubt I'll go back. Loud in your face techno...
