Welcoming and offers the full experience. Campsites are on the bluff above the water some offering stunning views of the western facing Olympic Mountains and Whidbey Island. Yurts are available for those looking for a getaway with out all camp gear. Large park area at waters edge brings a great experience for recreational sporting and entertaining of wee tots at the activity and discovery area. Picnic tables line the beach with fire pits for outdoor cooking and warmth during the off-season. The large pier brings endless possibilities for fishing and catching a like. Bring your pole, crab pots and night time squid gear. There is a small boat launch on the north side of the pier. This Snohimsh County operated park is slated for an overhaul This next year and should be bringing some renovated features to all who visit. Good job Snohomish County Parks. Cheers to you!

This is a cool Snohomish County park with lots of nice facilities. The beach is similar to any Washington state beach— lots of rocks and driftwood. There’s a pier that juts out into the sound that people fish from. There’s also a playground with really fancy equipment, including a rope tree that you can climb on. Try to get here early in the day because it definitely fills up. Many of the pavilions need to be rented ahead of time (if you try to book one while you’re there, you won’t be able to; the website only lets you book the facilities two days beyond the present). This is a great park for picnics and walks. We went here for Mother’s Day and everyone had a fantastic time.

In A Nutshell: -If you are looking for a nice beach on the Puget Sound to watch the sunset, look no further than Kayak Point. -There are several beaches along Marine Drive, however, all of them are PRIVATE BEACHES, except Kayak Point. -So save yourself some time & go directly to this beach. -Once you are here, expect to pay $10 for a day parking pass. -There are plenty of parking spaces close to the beach. -There are also plenty of fire pits on the beach & picnic areas. -There is also a small dock where you can fish/crab on. Overall, this is a nice beach to check out if you are in the area of Marysville, Stanwoo & Tulalip.

Amazingly beautiful place to rest and relax. Breathtaking views of the Puget sound. Watching the beautiful sunset. There's boat launch, about a mile walk, kids playground, clean three restroom building. At the moment only the main restroom building is open near the playground. There's so much to do here like fishing, crabbing, kayaking, barbecuing or just bring your folded chair and enjoy the scenery of the sound while reading your favorite book under the sun. If you are lucky you will see seals, dolphins and orcas! Cottages are for rent, online reservation required. Discovery pass required.

Too few parking spots and seating. Otherwise I really liked having access to Public restrooms and playground. This place would be awesome if it offered kayaks and bikes to rent and again had more parking by the beach. Additional parking was available on the top of the hill that leads down to the beach area. Difficult for anyone who has mobility issues to access. There should be an option for individuals with mobility difficulty to have shuttle services up and down the steep hill/steps. Even the handicapped area was full. Also, it costs $10 to park.

Nice beach and picnic tables. Clean. Has public bathroom. Great place for beach combing for adults and kids. It has a boat launch and a pier for crabbing and fishing. It's a must, if you own a kayak or other, to paddle. In season, we experienced paddling with curious dolphins and watched pods of orcas. It's also a place for bird watching, like eagles diving for fish or cranes flying by you. In the morning, the water is like glass. It's a peaceful place. Just note that there's a $10 parking fee. Discover pass is not accepted.
