Known to be miraculous. • Road 🛣️: wonderful greenery and changes of scenes from wineries, waterland, cities etc... • Crowd 👥 : not very crowded • Parking 🅿️: Available ✅ • Location 📍: Bechwat, Baalbak • Activities : A 20minutes visit between both churches, there are restaurants and souvenir shops. You need around 15mins to arrive to Yamouneh.

Small church sets on the site of a mountain where grows fruit trees of every kind in the little town of Bechwat, Bekaa, Lebanon. This statue of virgin Mary of hope is known for many miracles. Lovely place and churche for praying. People come for pilgrimage as well as tourism.

One of the most important places to visit while being in Lebanon is Saydet Bechwat. The place to be when searching for a praying spot, you feel you're a step closer to the sky. Not forgetting that all the villages surrounding Bechwat are as stunning and Bechwat itself.

This church was built over a roman temple the priest came from Egypt and claimed some miracles , the red granite stone is part of a Roman altar ! It's a long trip to get there but enjoyable!
