It is a holly place for us. More and more tourists came there.Indergarh is a city and a municipality in Bundi district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. There is a famous Temple of Bijasan Mata situated here and every year in Navaratri huge number of people come here. The temple is surrounded by beautiful Aravali Ranges As of 2001 India census,[1] Indragarh had a population of 5265. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Indragarh has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 53%. In Indragarh, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age. "Census of India 2001: Data from the 2001 Census, including cities, villages and towns (Provisional)". Census Commission . MY EXPERIENCE IN THIS PLACE - India is a land of holy places and there is no dearth of Pilgrims in this country. Our biggest centers of pilgrimage are Badri Nath, Puri, Rameshwaram, and Allahabad on the occasion of Kumbh, Hardwar, Kurukshetra and Garhmukteshwar. Perhaps the largest number of people gathers at Allahabad and Garhmukgteshwar. I also visited Garhmukteshwar on Kartik Purnima and had an experience of this fair suggested that we should leave by the evening train, reach the holy place in the early hours of the morning and take our bar in the holy river. It was more with the feelings of adventure than religious devotion that we left for our destination. There was a very heavy rush in the train. The compartments were full of suffocation. Somehow, we were able to get a few inches of accommodation to stand. I do not want to say anything about the difficulties of the way since a pilgrim is not supposed to make an account of all these things. The flower sellers, sweet sellers, sandal paste sellers, barbers, oil and comb keepers, pundits and priests were al having the best of time. There was no difference of men and women’s All was taking their bath together. Young ladies were helping the older ones in their bath in order to have their blessings. The bath of the river was very refreshing indeed, but its pleasure was going to decrease, because water was turning more and more muddy, to decrease, because water was turning more and more muddy or tin with holy water to take home. After taking our bath, we went round the fair. The fair was spread over a very vast area. Tents of cloth and mattresses had been set up by people for their lodging. The whole fair was divided into eight sections. The bazaar consisted of newly made shops and the prices of things were very high. Here and there we heard that somebody’s child was lost her way or somebody’s pocked was picked. At last we took a bus for Delhi and left with the words, “Jai Ganga on our lips. only i say it is very awesome place for us.

This ancient temple was built as the popular opinion goes, 2000 years ago in Vikram Samvat 103 by Kamal Nath who was a great devotee of Goddess Durga. His unflinching devotion to the Goddess propitiated the Goddess and she appeared before him. This idol of Beejasan Mata (Mother Goddess Durga) seated on the demon Rakta Beeja. In Markendeya Puran, the great exploits of Goddess Durga are narrated which are now known as Shri Gurga Shaptasati. In the eighth chapter of Shri Durga Shaptasati we read the Chivalrous shape of Durga when she waged her fierce battle against the demon Rakta Beeja. This demon had been blessed with an extraordinary kind of boon. Every drop of his blood falling from his body on earth would turn into a Rakta Beeja of the equal power and equal prowess. The result was that there were millions of Rakta Beeja demons. Finally the Goddess decided not to let the blood of these demons fall on earth. She therefore, with burning torches either burnt the wounds or collected the falling blood in a bowl and drank it up. The goddess also took as many forms as the demon Rakta Beeja had. Thus the Goddess quelled and killed the demon Rakta Beeja and hence this name Beejasan was given to her.

The temple is built on a High hill, To reach the temple has to climb the flight on steps which begins from the foot of the hill , leading to the temple . There are around 700 + of steps to reach the top of hill for darshan of the Goddess . From the top of hill we get a beautiful scene around the temple and view of the near areas and hills , village and their crops. Navratras are performed with great enthusiasm and devotion in the month of Chaitra and Ashwin. At this time big fairs are held .

जय माता दी । This place is really really spiritual 🤩 and worth visiting 💖 Rare are some temples where you need to climb the mountain to have glimpse of of the World Saviour. There are around 1500 stairs to climb to reach the temple. But once you reach the top it's worth. The sight of the Forest from the to is adorable & mind blowing. Most importantly the vibe you get after being at top of the Hill and seeing everything down under you is inexpressible. This is a great place to visit for a outing. If you are in Rajasthan then you must visit this and experience something par excellence. जय माता दी ।
