We fell in LOVE with Zimbabwe and I can’t think of a better place to round off our time there than in Vic Falls. The area has SO much to offer (beyond the Falls) and it really surprised us. Not to mention the people were incredible and we made the sweetest friends that showed us around 🥲 Definitely a place we’d travel back to. Here’s a few of our favorites ⬇️✨ *save for your own trip* - The Falls! This one is obvious but if you want to miss the crowds and feel like you’ve got the place to yourself highly recommend going at 6am! We were 1 of 6 people there and it was incredible. - Rafting! Can’t recommend a rafting or canoeing trip enough. We did our tour with @victoriafallscanoeingcompany and it was incredible - @the_lookout_cafe simply put, you gotta do it. This place is perfectly situated over the gorge and is such a cool coffee/breakfast/lunch spot - Visit Zambezi National Park: We stayed at the @siansimba campsite and did a riverside safari drive with sundowners - COMESA Market. We LOVED this place. If you’re looking for local goods (or secondhand clothes) at local prices, this is the place. - Sunset cruise! Another bucket list item for Vic Falls. Different experience all together. If you start your game drive at the right time which is early morning or late evening (& night time is best) then you have high chance of seeing all the species present in the jungle. We were lucky to see Hyna, Fox and the lioness hunt. Elephants are plenty. My advice would be experience the night safari it's an thrilling experience.

Nothing to fault! The number of animals seen was unbelievable, the best national park I've visited so far, we even had the luck of a ranger jumping in our car to help us find rhinos! We got to see a leopard 🐆 too! Definitely recommend that if you are travelling or live nearby, I won't put too many photos to spoil the moments you'll experience, but it's so worth it!

For me the experience is quite exhilarating seeing as i work and live in the park. Animal sightings are always a delight, the quietness and relaxing atmosphere is so alluring and fulfilling.

Amazing experience, there are no facilities in the park, take everything you need, including the spade...you camp with the animals around you, as the grounds are not fenced.

Description
Zambezi National Park is a national park located upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. It was split off from Victoria Falls National Park in 1979 and is 56,000 hectares in size. The park is bisected by a road to Kazungula, dividing it into a riverine side and a Chamabonda Vlei side.
