Pretty neat little roadside park setup. I like history so it was enjoyable to read the signs and see where an actual battle took place.

Beautiful little park. There are many signs explaining the battle. The burial mound is well cared for. Nice bit of history.

6yState historical Park. Site of largest battle of the War between the States north of the Ohio River.
Well marked and easy to get to from US 33. Lots of interpretive signage. Plenty of free parking. Actually, the whole park is free.
Bathroom facilities are well kept-up, but are pit latrines. Nice ones, but that's what they are.
Glad we went.

1yNice little park to walk around with interesting history. Native American burial ground on the premises. Well-maintained park. The drive to it is along the Ohio River and quite beautiful.

7yWas a nice pit stop while driving the Ohio River Scenic Byway. It's a neat bit of history. Probably best to not use the bathrooms, though.
