If I would give zero stars I would. I had been going here my entire life but its really gone down hill. We went there for the labor day weekend. Saturday night some large men got in my 16 year olds face & threatened him because he was playing with a large group of kids & one of them grabbed my sons arm as he ran from the other kids and when he pulled his arm away she was accidentally hurt. Read moreLet's start with the positives. Overall the park is really pretty. Lots of green areas and easy, walkable trails. The lake is beautiful but very busy with skiers. The beach looks lovely (though we haven't visited yet). Lots of birds singing, squirrels foraging, even saw a bald eagle fly just a few feet above our heads. Now for the not so good. Read more2023.08 The playground was gone and under construction. They had just laid the concrete sidewalk. The beach is really rocky, so pack water shoes. Fortunately, the volleyball court has fine sand to play if it's not burning hot. Be mindful if you're packing a lot for the beach and pulling a wagon or stroller, there's no accessible pathway from the parking lot to the beach.
