Let's start with the positives. Overall the park is really pretty. Lots of green areas and easy, walkable trails. The lake is beautiful but very busy with skiers. 2023.08 The playground was gone and under construction. They had just laid the concrete sidewalk. The beach is really rocky, so pack water shoes. Fortunately, the volleyball court has fine sand to play if it's not burning hot. Be mindful if you're packing a lot for the beach and pulling a wagon or stroller, there's no accessible pathway from the parking lot to the beach.
