A unique experience of Herrat View Point under cloudy skies and light rain: Herrat View Point: A Lush Transformation Herrat View Point in AlUla offers breathtaking vistas of the desert landscape, but on a cloudy day with light drizzle, the experience transforms into something magical. The typically arid landscape bursts with a surprising flush of greenery, creating a vibrant scene unlike anything you'd normally expect. The light rain adds a gentle mist, softening the rugged terrain and lending an ethereal quality to the air. While you may miss the blazing desert sun, the cool temperatures and unique atmosphere make this a special and unforgettable visit. Tips: Bring a light raincoat or waterproof jacket to stay comfortable. Wear shoes suitable for potentially slippery terrain. Embrace the distinct beauty of the landscape on a less-than-typical day!

We traveled a bit early to catch the sunrise, not realizing the viewpoint had specific opening and closing hours, so we weren’t able to access the actual deck. However, the view from the other side of the deck was still mesmerizing, especially at that time of day. One thing we didn’t expect was the road to the top. Ahh, the road—IT WAS VERY SCARY for us! The steep, narrow path with sharp curves had us holding our breath, especially since we traveled before sunrise. If you’re afraid of heights or have heart conditions, I’d suggest giving it some thought to determine if it’s worth it for you. I honestly got scared for our colleagues who were with us, and they couldn’t even speak as we reached the top.

Another tourist spot in Al Ula Before reaching this place, a steep and inclined road which is likely almost 80̊ that makes me fainted, scared and dizzy but for some of my friends it’s called adventure At the site location, after all those mixed emotions, your soul will lighten up as the landscape formation is stunning, marvelous and jaw dropping. We came here as the summer started, at the peak - you must bring jacket cause the weather is different - it’s cold. Better to come here at sunset cause its beautiful... There is also a restaurant and a lot of couches and chairs. The toilet is quite clean all the time... Be reminded that it is free, no ticket needed.

The place is spectacular. Free to visit. Good seating arrangements made outside and free car parking. People are not allowed to bring in food or water. However when people wish to buy something, there is a restaurant. You may walk up to the restaurant and ask for a menu. They’ll ask for a reservation. And then when you tell them that we did not reserve anything. They will not serve you food. This often happens during the weekends. The drive to Harrat view point is quite long. And to not be allowed to buy anything? Very illogical and stupid. At least set food stalls or water stalls for people just like elephant rock.
