The April weather was really nice so we enjoyed staying at the historical site for a longer time, and we counted on Google to get more details about the life of the ancient Roman people. The museum focuses on the remains found in the cemetery. It was well presented but lacked information that can catch the attention of a 10 year old. We found the price very fair and hope we could support the site. Improvement tips: Take example of Vindonissa in Switzerland, where children can really get into the life of ancient Roman people.

Superbe visite sous le docte discours de Charles Marie, alias "Carlu". On ne se lasse pas de sa bonne humeur, et il sait comment abreuver notre curiosité ardente et nous faire ressentir la vie de ce site. Pensez éventuellement à apporter de quoi grignoter au chat Auguste, qui gambade joyeusement entre les jambes des groupes de visiteur. Une petite critique à propos du musée. Ce sont les noms "savant" désignant moult objets dont on ne comprends pas forcément la fonction. Strigile ou Kylix...entre autres, qu'es aquó ! Autre chose qui a surpris plusieurs autres visiteurs, la notation "avant NE" (notre ère), en lieu et place de "avant JC". Une forme de zèle sur la déconstruction de nos traditions....car je n'ai rien trouvé de factuel à ce sujet, excepté en Grande Bretagne. A quand la destruction des clochers de nos églises (trop chrétien) et des châteaux qui représentent tellement la noblesse d'avant 1789...beurk. Merci quand même, c'est une belle visite et un bon moment à passer.

Lovely views, especially from the roof of the Genoese castle. Roman remains on a hillside for the keen. Restaurant with great views but don't expect staff to serve you food of any kind after 2:30 pm. Instead there is a lovely friendly bar on the way to the Roman remains where they will make you a sandwich or salad any time.

Sito archeologico e museo ben tenuti e interessanti. Il primo all'ingresso ha un qr code per il sito con la relativa spiegazione che purtroppo è solo in lingua corsa o francese ma tra gli scavi ci sono pannelli descrittivi in varie lingue (anche italiano)quindi si capisce bene com'era strutturata l'area. Il museo è piccolino e molto descrittivo il giro finisce salendo sulla terrazza dalla quale si ha una visuale di 360°. Il costo d'ingresso è di 4€ biglietto intero, il parcheggio è gratuito e situato a circa 5 minuti dall'ingresso del museo. Nel tragitto si trovano un ristorante e un bar. Per visitare tutto ci vuole circa 1 e mezza/2 ore. I cani possono accedere all'area archeologica se tenuti al guinzaglio. Consigliato!

Aleria è un paese della Corsica che ha un sito archeologico riguardante le antiche Terme romane. Si parcheggia la macchina direttamente all'entrata, si fa il biglietto che all'incirca costa 2€ per gli adulti e si procede alla visita delle Terme. E un museo a cielo aperto, dove si segue un percorso nella natura e ogni zona è descritta da dei cartelli plurilingua. Il sito è enorme, pieno di reperti tutti ben conservati. È anche presente un museo nel Castello, dove ci sono tutti i reperti ritrovati li e noi dintorni, molto particolare. Per il prezzo e se siete in vacanza li in zona consiglio di fare un salto.

Très beau site témoignant de l'histoire de la Corse. Une explication au musée m'a fait rire : en 259 avant J-Christ les Romains avec Lucius Cornelius Scipio prennent Alailia qu'ils rebaptisent Aleria. Les autochtones insulaires particulièrement sous développés vivent principalement de brigandages ; ceux qui sont attrapés par les Romains sont alors achetés pour une somme très modique et envoyés à Rome en tant qu'esclaves. Le gros problème est que les Romains ne peuvent rien en tirer tellement ces esclaves sont idiots et arriérés qu'ils en arrivent même à regretter les quelques pièces qu'ils ont pay
