We had a great following our 20 week anatomy scan appointment, had the rest of the afternoon to fill and was an easy 30min ride from Hagerstown. Provided some great photo opportunities to show off our future little one. The staff were all so friendly and there was a great selection of goodies in the store. We came home with stuffed bell peppers from the freezer/meat area, apple butter, smoked syrup, spiced cupcakes, apple cider, cider donuts, cookies, peaches, and of course a thousand apples we picked ourself. We went on a Thursday afternoon, one of the very few apple picking places nearby that offer weekday you-pick produce. Be arrived around 3:00 and even though our ticket was for 3:30 they let us hop right on the trailer to go to the fields and told us that the tractor would be back about every 15 minutes or so to give us a ride back. Even if you get there last ride at 3:30 (as published on the website). They still run the tractor to get you back once you're done picking so don't worry about being left in the field or having to walk back, though it's honestly not that far even if in a worst case scenario. They have a portapotty as well in the fields. Speaking of bathrooms, Do make sure you check out their main bathroom, obviously not that their bathroom itself is special but to get to the bathroom you walk through the packing area and see the conveyor belts and where they pack their apples which is pretty cool to see. Their store also featured this cute spooky square pumpkin that has an adorable plushie and books/DVDs so we were excited to pick up some of the children's books and plushie to give to our future baby as well and can't wait until the kids old enough that we could take them back here. They have a separate area that has farm animals and fun activities for kids to do as well so we'll have to come back sometime to check that out.

This place is beyond phenomenal. My VERY favorite thing is the MAGNIFICENT section of the store that is nothing but religious goodies! I just bought my dad a devotional for Hunter’s! He is going to be SO excited. Anyway: 1. They don’t charge people to come take pictures with their STUNNING peach blossoms. 2. The place is very clean. 3. There is so much to do. This place is not an average farmer’s market. My son could have spent all day here. 4. There is a large variety of inventory available for purchase… and everything is AWESOME 5. ALL of the staff are kind. - I got lost and drove in a forbidden area. One of the workers kindly pointed me in the right direction without getting angry at me. - The cashiers were funny and friendly. -A friend and I were taking photos of our toddlers out front when one of the workers came by and gave them FREE stuffed bunnies. 6. They have so much to offer like a pumpkin patch, a live nativity at Christmas, an Easter experience, hayrides, bluegrass music, and more. THIS PLACE IS A ONE-STOP SHOP! My husband and I will definitely be getting our Christmas tree here this year. I wish I could give them a higher rating. They truly go above and beyond to run an AMAZING establishment, and it shows! I also feel the need to mention that I LOVE how these folks do not celebrate Halloween or promote anything sacrilegious, it gives me such a peace of mind and brings a lightness to my heart to know how genuinely amazing these people are.

20July2024 My first and not my last time visiting here. My best friend and I had a great time on our day out. Great weather and property. Everyone working here was super nice and very informative. Especially the wonderful lady(around 11a.m.ish)explaining in detail about how and who makes the macarons. Thank you so much for taking the time and enjoying what you do. There are so many pies, pastry’s, bagels, freshly made ice cream, and so much more. Wonderful customer service. The food truck has some good eats. The ladies running that truck were so helpful and nice. Excellent customer service. The property has a lot to do for the entire family. Lots of spots for great pics to share and post. Ample outdoor seating. Tractor rides to the areas to pick your fresh fruits. The animals are near the road so everyone can see them, the gift shop has some rare and cute gifts, so many annuals, perennials, sunflowers, and more. Beautiful flower pots for trust S. Burgess, eclectic bird baths, all types of garden flags, the cutest material wind spinners, candles, and mosaic stuff. So many different types of baskets all hanging from the ceiling. Fresh local grow fruits and veggies. All sorts of meats, freshly prepared and packed garlic kosher pickles, and spreads. A great day trip. You should stop in and you will definitely be glad you did.

We had a lovely time! We came on a Saturday in December so we got some FANTASTIC hot cocoa covered in peanut buttery syrup and Reese's candy. They actually have several styles of cocoa you can order. Before that we stocked up with plenty of snacks, bakery items, cheese, dark chocolate peanut butter and real 🍁 syrup. It was cold enough⛄ to keep in our trunk while we went on the hayride to see a short but sweet🎄Christmas🎅 play inside of the petting zoo. We will definitely be coming back on a Saturday, very soon, because we want to pre order some pies that they dont keep on hand and also to try another style of hot cocoa...last but definitely not least, since we've already seen the Christmas skit, we want to take the "hayride" to the petting zoo to have more time to pet the adorable animals there. Bring quarters if you'd like to feed them, its 50 cents a handful, which Im happy to donate. The hayride is free but accepts donations as well. I was so happy to see a public Christmas play (hard to come by these days, in the name of political correctness) and appearlingly well taken care of and happy barnyard animals, we were more than happy to donate. FYI-Im home and had a whoopie-apple cider donuts and it was AMAZING!

Best. Apple Cider Donuts. EVER. Orr's Farm Market is the biggest agrotourism destination I've found in Berkeley County. They have a petting zoo, along with seasonal attractions like a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and hayride. The market itself is also great. There's fresh produce, local goods (candies, jams, WV maple syrup, honey, cards & gifts, etc), a bakery and even a little coffee counter. The pies and cakes at the bakery looked amazing. Judging by the apple cider donuts the pies and cakes taste just as good as they look. Which brings me to the highlight of my experience with Orr's, the fresh apple cider donuts. Donuts so fresh they were still warm. Donuts so fluffy they almost had no hole. Donuts so soft they make you smile with every bite. So damn good that my wife and I argued over the last one! We'll be back for those donuts. And everything else; it's a pretty cool place to spend an afternoon. Note on accessibility: Although there is accessible parking and a paved lot by those spaces, the walkways in the market are very narrow. It may be a challenge to navigate inside in a wheelchair on a busy day.

The orchards at Orr’s Farm Market are a feast for the eyes during peach blossom season. Seeing the pink peach blossomed hillside in April probably never gets old for the locals. But peaches aren’t the only thing grown on this family run farm. All kinds of seasonal fruits and vegetables are harvested throughout the year. According to Jamie and Hunter, two employees I spoke to while there, the majority of what they sell in their farm market is either grown/made on site or from local producers in the Martinsburg area. I asked Jamie what the most popular items purchased from the market were… He indicated they are known for their baked goods, their farmed picked apples, the honey, and their “I-81 traffic” jam. Between me and my sister-in-law, we decided to try all the above. In addition to the Orchards and the market, Orr’s Farm also has a barnyard to explore. I highly recommend you check out their website and Facebook page to see what fruits and vegetables are in season. And, if you ever get the chance to go while the peach trees are in bloom, you are in for a real treat!
