It was a very nice place, the dam was very beautiful. From Ramnagar station it takes just 15-20 minute by auto rickshaw. The auto rickshaw will demand just 80-100 Rs. and obviously that is negotiable. You will also get the Uber option but I advise not to wait, you can easilt get auto outside of the station. When we reached the lake, it was written on a board about boating, but in the lake the boating was discontinued may be for some particular concern. Easy to climb on the rock, nice...

Calm weekend getaway from Bangalore. It is close to Ramanagara town but the accessibility is not good owing to poor condition of road. It is really peaceful to sit on the rock and watch the sun go down the horizon. We enjoyed walking along the pathway on the edge of the lake while sinking in the calm breeze from the lake on side and farmlands on the other side. Though we didn't climb the rocky hills many visitors climbed further on top, for what is in all likelihood a better viewpoint...
