I had the pleasure of visiting Marble Beach last Sunday, and it was an experience to remember. Nestled along the eastern coast of Sri Lanka, this hidden gem truly lives up to its reputation as a serene and pristine paradise. The moment I set foot on the beach, I was greeted by the sight of powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The backdrop of lush greenery and swaying palm trees added to the natural charm of the place. It's a photographer's dream come true. Marble Beach offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I was pleasantly surprised by the tranquility that enveloped the area. The absence of crowds allowed me to unwind and connect with nature. The calm and gentle waves make Marble Beach an ideal spot for swimming. I enjoyed the refreshing dip in the sea, and the water was pleasantly warm. It's perfect for both families and solo travelers looking for a relaxing swim. There are ample shaded areas and picnic spots with tables and benches. I brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal while listening to the soothing sound of the waves. I was pleased to see that Marble Beach is well-maintained with clean facilities and a dedicated team of staff members. This attention to upkeep enhances the overall visit. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend staying to watch the sunset. The changing colors of the sky against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean create a breathtaking view that's worth every moment. In summary, my visit to Marble Beach last Sunday was nothing short of spectacular. It's a place where nature's beauty reigns supreme, and it offers a peaceful escape for anyone seeking a slice of paradise. I can't wait to return and experience its serene ambiance once again.

The marble beach which is one of the famous tourist attractions in Trincomalee is situated about 2.5 Km away from the Kinniya bridge in Trincomalee in Sri Lanka. As I have heard that Trincomalee is famous for its picturesque and scenic beaches, I got to visit this beautiful marble beach recently. Oh! It was awesome! I couldn't believe my eyes. It looks like a light blue carpet spreading far way. The ripples in the sea create soft waves and roll over one after the other along the shallow water towards the shore making a faint sound. The uniformly spread sandy beach running alongside the sea creates a very pleasant impression in one’s mind. The rocky islands standing out far away in the sea break the visible horizon creating an additional glamour to the distant view. The pollution-free pristine sandy beach definitely soothe one’s eyes. The marble beach is well maintained by the Sri Lankan Air Force and the priority has been given to the cleanliness of the beach and the safety of the visitors. On holidays the beach is overcrowded with the local and foreign tourists. The best months to visit the beach is from June to August. From September to February is not favourable period because the sea becomes turbulent. Parking facilities and accommodation facilities are also available. This is an ideal place for swimming. I would like to sincerely mention that this is one of the pristine beaches that I have seen because it is controlled by the Air Force.

⭕ This is a famous beach🏖️ among people who visit to Trincomalee. Beach is situated about 2.8 km far away from the Trincomalee - Kinniya main road🛣️. The road to the marble beach is through a small jungle🏞️. Half of the road is not good. So if you go by public transport🚃, you have to get a service from a three wheel🛺 driver. It takes about Rs.400/=💰. Entrance fee is Rs. 20/= ⭕ There is a free public parking area. It is enough for lot of vehicles. There are some food stalls like ice cream🍦 shops. ⭕ There are separate wash rooms and bathing areas🚿 for men♂️ and women♀️. Dont worry about the privacy. ⭕ Beach is very clean and its a nice place to enjoy. There is crystal clean water in beach. In the morning beach is usually calm and there are no waves. But in the evening, it changes🌊. There is volleyball🏐 court. You can play volleyball. There is some sitting places and a cafe area with small meal items🥯 and beverages🍹. But there is no main meal items. There are some life guards on duty every time.✌️

Don't waste your time. It's nothing like the photos. Firstly, the military has taken over half the beach, and you are not allowed to cross or trespass. But there is no one on their part. The public area has ropes where you are only allowed to swim. There's a big concrete ring (like oil rig) right in front of the beach. Ugly as. The beach on the day I went and I was on a motor scooter was busy with school groups and a lot of Muslim women and girls fully dressed. Weird. I was going to swim, but between the young men staring and saying hello, the oil rig, the limited place to swim, I opted out. I was thankful I drove. If you take the bus, you will be dropped off at a junction at the top. Then it's a tuk tuk for about 3km, and you are at their mercy. Honestly, you wouldn't want to walk the distance. My advice is not to waste your precious time.
