A small ex-military occupied zone Buneci lies between the village of Piqeras and Lukova, a beautiful beach full of military bunkers built during the communist regime waiting for the unknown enemy.

The beach is divided by a small stream which begins up in the mountains surrounding the beach. It’s charming and unspoiled and has some pretty incredible sunsets. This little charmer of a cove is often overlooked by travellers hurrying towards the bright lights of Saranda.

Bunec Beach is a hidden gem along the Albanian Riviera. The beach offers a peaceful and scenic escape, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The water is clear and refreshing, and the surroundings are beautiful, with hills creating a calm atmosphere.

There are a few small bars and places nearby for snacks and drinks. It’s ideal for families, friends, or solo travelers looking for a quiet day by the sea. The sunset views are amazing and make the visit even more special. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the Albanian Riviera.”**

📍 Tip: Arrive early during summer to find parking and a good spot...

The beach is wonderful with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It has two sections, a public beach and a private one. Beach umbrellas and sunbeds cost 1500lek. However, this place is one of those that impressed us the most: few tourists, and the sea water is always delightful. The staff at the restaurant is very friendly, and the food is delicious. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby. The road to get here is an adventure, but it's worth every effort. Before you descend to the beach, don't forget there's a market nearby :) always comes in handy. I highly recommend this beach for a wonderful...
