GETTING THERE: Going by car, you can drive much further than Google Maps says, on a steep and (poorly) paved road not even shown in Maps. You can get pretty much to the top, parking is possible there and along the way. Of course, you can also walk on the road to the top (through the heat). The way downhill starts with a short but beautiful hiking trail and ends with the infamous climbing part, which is supported by a rope. Here, you need to free hands and sturdy shoes. Given that, it's doable.
SHADOW: Until noon there is plenty, the earlier the more. In the afternoon, there is no shadow except for a small cave on the very right of the beach, where maybe three small parties or ten people can fit.
THE BEACH ITSELF is pebbly, but beautiful. On a weekday in August, there were maybe 100 people spread over the whole beach. It was neither empty nor crowded,...

Not for the feint hearted! 😰😅 The beach itself is stunning but this was the scariest climb up and down. I am not a fan of heights and the steep, slippery and crumbling rock was not fun. I almost didn’t make it back up. As I was climbing some of the foot hold rocks came away, chunks at a time. If someone hadn’t helped me I probably wouldn’t have made it. I wanted to cry! The rope they had for half of the climb is also super sketchy and I didn’t trust it to hold my weight. I wore my tevas (strappy outdoor sandals) and this was a big mistake. If you go please wear proper shoes with grip. Do not attempt this climb if you are not physically fit and have strong legs. If you have the option to get a canoe to this beach I strongly recommend it. This is also not for people like me who don’t like heights. I think my fear made the physical activity much harder. I would not attempt this again unless they added a secure railing which I don’t think will be happening...
