So me and my Wife are currently in Sarande, Albania 🇦🇱 on our Honeymoon from our home in Manchester, England 🏴.
We were walking down Sarande Promenade a few days ago and there are people selling boat trips, Normal tours, Private tours etc.
We Saw VikingGen Pirate ship/Viking Ship and it stood out to us and we paid €70(7000 LEK) for Two of us(€35) each which includes one free drink each(Coca Cola, Sprite, Lemonade, Beer, White Wine, Red wine) and Good usually Bread, Salad, Spaghetti, Chips, Chicken.
The boat tour goes to a few bays where they drop the anchor ⚓️ and you can jump off the back of the boat, Front of the boat, Side of the boat, Bottom Deck, Middle Deck, Top deck etc.
Well the last beach was supposed to be Kroreza Beach ⛱️ but due to rough seas the Captain decided to turn around and we spent the day at Two bays and returned to Sarande.
So Today was our last day in Sarande and we thought we would go and see if the waves were calm and we could finally make it to Kroreza Beach ⛱️, So we paid €70(7000LEK) for a Free Drink and Food but you can pay just €20 with no food and drink and people do also take there own food and drink.
So anyway we finally made it to Kroreza Beach and WOW was it worth it, The beach is only accessible by Boat, There are sun lounges we paid €10(1000LEK) for Two sun lounges and an umbrella, There is a Pizza 🍕 restaurant, Few bars and other places to eat(Cash only NO CARD), The Beach is absolutely beautiful, Crystal clear waters, The beach does get busy as there are several boat cruises and private tours etc.
Honestly pictures 📸 don't do Kroreza Beach justice it really is picture perfect never seen such Crystal clear water in my life.
The Beach is stones and pebbles so take water shoes(you can buy them from most supermarkets and shops in Sarande, If you like Snorkeling this is the most amazing place to Snorkel, Swim, Dive etc.

Read moreIf you are on a boat trip that has this beach as one of the stops please read on. Even if the tour guide promised you a “free umbrella” included with the tour price when you land on the beach - this promise may be disregarded by the local dudes. After we landed, the owner of the “Caci Cooks” restaurant came to us and demanded 10euro for the umbrella despite the fact that our skipper told us to use it for free. We gave him no money and bought iced coffee in a different restaurant instead. The owner of “Caci Cooks” approached us once again delivering a long speech on how “we disrespected him by buying coffee in a different restaurant while using HIS umbrella” (a free promised umbrella). He demanded 10euro again but left us alone eventually. The beach itself is beautiful, the water is crystal clear however local crooks make it difficult for people to enjoy the nature. One more thing: music is blasting from all bars so if you wanted to listen to the waves -...
Read moreThe beach itself is wonderful (4 STARS just for the beauty of the nature), however there are too many boats on the shore which not only pollute the water but release a horrible petrol smell in the air that you breathe while sunbathing. We felt suffocated the whole time we spent there as we couldn't breathe fresh air. This is such a shame because the place is still wild, virgin and fairly unexplored. But you can't enjoy it with the petrol smell and the loud music coming from some of the boats. Wasps are definitely present but you have to be careful not to leave fruit or sugary drinks lying around. We came here in the beginning of September. Can't even image what the situation must be in July or August !! MY ADVICE: GO AT THE END OF MAY OR MID...
