Read moreI can’t really speak for the views as it was super foggy the day I drove through, but I want to write a review to inform other driving travelers because based the on the previous reviews I read, I thought this road was going to be extremely treacherous and I was super anxious to drive through in my Opel sedan rental car. Maybe the road is in better condition than it used to be (its in great condition actually, just narrow as all roads in Albania are), but i didn’t find the drive to be tough at all - yes there are lots of switchbacks and it gets quite steep at times, but as long as you take it slow (just ignore the locals trying to pass you, safety first!), it’s really not that bad, and I don’t consider myself a very experienced driver. I caught a bit of the view where the mountains met the sea and could only imagine how beautiful it would be on...
