My favorite beach! the main thing is the parking, where in other places it is a little difficult to find free, then the blue bay with fine sand that does not hurt your feet, the wide and comfortable sunbeds that did not penetrate the humidity were wonderful, the calmness the waves of the sea with its purity would give you another satisfaction, normally the fun will be paid for because nothing is free and I would pay 1500 all for the comfort! As for food and entertainment, I think and believe that there is everything you can find anywhere, restaurants and beach bars around the world, traditional meat products (piadhaqa) and fish! I dont think €40 is too much for two people to eat salad, focaccia, water, white wine, pasta, and a kilo of meat (paidhaqa) If I had gone to eat i would have chosen a restaurant in the city, but the idea is that I chose to come to the beach, and as for the beach, it was wonderful.! as for music and entertainment, i think its optional, I'd rather have a disco at dinner than waste time at the beach, anyway, thats my opinion! the music was beautiful and qualitative, I enjoyed it from my comfortable sunbed. I always spend wonderful days there and to spend a wonderful time with 6000 all for two people, I dont believe that you will find it cheaper in any other country in the world with the same beach quality! For me is best place...
Read moreWe arrived at the Beach Club at 10:00 AM when it was still empty. We chose loungers in the third row, but an hour later, as the sun got hotter, we realized that the umbrella provided had no fabric covering. The umbrellas at this beach club are all made of crochet, meaning they offer minimal protection. Without the fabric, it was even worse. As the sun became stronger, we constantly had to move our loungers and place our towels on them for some shade.
Shortly after we noticed this issue, I went to request a change in loungers, but to my surprise, there were no more loungers with proper protection available. We stayed in our spot, had lunch, and I decided to grab one of the poufs, thinking it would be easier to move as the shade changed. To my surprise, one of the staff members informed me that the poufs were also for rent and that it wasn't his fault the umbrellas lacked proper coverage. He mentioned that renting the poufs was a directive from management.
This place lacks basic customer service skills and...
Read moreNice tasty Pizza (although the prices remind you of Sweden) Beautiful Beach No local products (all Italian for some reason) Will charge you outrageous sums (2000 lek for an umbrella in the final row) Playing very loud music (and the DJ should just retire) Tried to charge us 1.500 lek for Corona beer (to which we refused and walked over to the other nearby bar with better service and prices ~ 400 lek for Albanian Korca beer) A lot of kids
Final notes: They will do all they can to squeeze every penny from you and if you’re not aware you might be in for a bad time. It is a shame because the beach is super beautiful and the restaurant had excellent food, which one could argue is worth the 35% higher prices than the rest of Albania. I would come back in the future and hope they reevaluate their business ideas to focus more on service and quality (over quantity).
Trying to charge us 1500 lek for a beer was just the craziest thing I’ve seen to this date in Albania (regular...
