Ujëvara e Selcës — Attraction in Bashkia Malësi e Madhe

Very nice and Huge waterfall (at least 20m). You have some nice Views from the Track, but the Tracks itself ist partly very steep and hard to Walk (definitly not suitable for Young Kids). Nonetheless, ist Well marked and offen walked by Herders (and theory animals). You can either start by the cementery or in the Center, this Track is wider but you have to Cross the River (which we havent due to high water levels). At the waterfall, you have to Walk through the water (maybe doable in Summer and autumn) or across a wobbly Bridge- we havent tried because it was too Dangerous to us.All in all an exhausting hike with very nice View and waterfall at the end, which will took 3-4 hours for...

It is a waterfall that captivates with its height and beauty. The water further creates a canyon of extraordinary beauty. The water is cold in the canyon, so it is necessary to wear neoprene from 3 (summer) mm to 5 mm. The waterfall is 70 meters high vertically. There is also a descent of 30 m to the vertical. So we can say that the waterfall is about 100m. If you want to go down the waterfall itself (through the flow of water) you need a rope of 200 m. The spring is in the cave and the water is drinkable fresh and cold at any time...

Der Wasserfall ist in der Trockenzeit quasi fast ausgestrocknet. Das liegt auch daran, dass über eine Rohrleitung direkt ab der Quelle das Wasser ins Tal transportiert.

Es gibt weiter oben mehrere kleinere Wasserfälle.

Der Aufstieg ist sehr anstrengend und Wanderschuhe und gute Fitness sind Pflicht. Je weiter man nach oben kommt, wird der Aufstieg immer gefährlicher.

Der einfachste Weg nach oben verläuft rechts vom Flussbett und startet ca. 200m nach dem Parkplatz (in Richtung Vermesh).

Auf dem Wanderweg habe ich auch Schlangen zu Gesicht bekommen.
