I've been here around 4 times now and I can say with confidence that I've had minimal comfort on this place.

Markets are generally cheap, so are beach prices. Rented houses always have some issue, be it not having any blinds, having defective insect nets(had fun once killing a total of 37 mosquitos), the room owner was not happy since "the walls aren't looking good now". The one time I go on season there are no rooms anywhere and everyone wants to overcharge you and won't give you any rooms unless you stay a number of days THEY want you to stay, and they are so rude when you compare them to when you go off season where they beg you for rooms at 50% the price. The food is mediocre, not many options, there are a lot of no-go places as they clearly seem not hygenic. There is one good actual hotel for those who are willing to pay for a price that is not worth it, the same price could buy you 4-5 days in Greece all inclusive, so it might be a mistake going there as well. There is also piles of trash in places there shouldn't be. Beach is good, the sand is nice, the water is nice though there are days where waves are gonna make it really hard for you to swim around.

September at the beach was a wonderfully serene experience. The water was refreshingly cool, and the quiet atmosphere made it feel like a private getaway. With few people around, it was easy to relax and enjoy the scenery without interruptions.
