Read moreWe came here on 24May2025 and it is just as beautiful as all the other reviews say. Highly recommended.
I wanted to add some more info on the best path to take down, as it wasn’t clear to me from the other reviews. This map is from AllTrails.
The best option is the one highlighted yellow. There’s a spot for parking on the side of the road. You need to jump over or crawl under the road safety barrier. Otherwise it’s a pretty easy walk down to the river (don’t cross the bridge), then a scramble down to the bottom of the waterfall.

The purple path looked like it was a really steep path down from the road with a lot of loose rocks. Wouldn’t recommend.
I’m really unsure how the blue path works. It goes from the campsite you pass on the road in, but the north side of the river has huge cliffs, so I couldn’t see where it comes down.

Soon after that and béfore the sharp bend in the road, step over the guardrail on the left of the road. From the road it’s hard to spot the path, but if you cross the guardrail and walk a few meters, you’ll find it. This path has some parts that are a bit challenging, but it’s the best path we found (better than the one with the sign in the village and the one at the other side of the bend). When you reach the waterfall, it’s...
