Shame Shame Shame! It cost 300 lek nearly 4 US dollars to see some ruins in top of the hill with no story’s behinds. First was not any parking place no signs of it and then you have to climb through the path. Not accessible to people with disabilities not restrooms not nothing to feel you going to see a castle. A question for people who decide to make a charge of 4$ to have some photos of disaster build down in Vlora City ; What a heck are you doing with money collecting from the visitors paying to enter in a place without entrance a place with no pavement road a place with no parking?!?!? For what are you using those money ???? I know all our complaints here with remain without answer because none of you are responsible not Albanian Ministrinof Culture that today has all main museums close for renovation same time Museum of National History ,Gallery of Art ,Mosaic Side, Arceologic Museum in Durres etc . Because none of you cares if visitors climbs over the walls of this castle without any sign zero sign and can do anything they want even peeing in your castle…....

Mury otaczające Kanina przebiegają zgodnie z naturalnym odciążeniem wzgórza i otaczają obszar o powierzchni 36 ha . ro perspektywiczne okresy od IV wieku p.n.e. W V-VI wne. I aż do wieku. XII-XIV. W ostatnim etapie mur wyposażony jest w baszty o różnych kształtach, np. czworokątne, wieloboczne, półkoliste, trójkątne i przyporowe. Do murów obronnych zamku prowadziły trzy wejścia.

Nice castle with interesting history and amazing view. There is barely any information available about the history at the place and there are some eyesores in and around the area but that’s quite normal in Albania. A donkey and some sheep and goats in the area are adding to the charm of the place. 300 lek entry is quite pricey for what you get but it’s not really expensive either. Worth visiting if you are already in the area.
