I would recommend to all tourists to visit it especially during spring time starting from April as the temperatures in Albania are quite ok and the place is very nice. In this part of Albanian coast you will found lots of restaurants, bars and especially great sea food places. Also why not you can visit from September to beginning of November as the temperatures in Albania are ok during that period too. And in these suggested periods also the hotels are cheaper and calmer as the whole zone. The beach zone is relatively safe for children to swim even-though don’t see sea guards around. And when you do you realise you can't enjoy the water because it is always murky and you can't swim because sea weed and even garbage float everywhere around you. The waves bring the sea weed to the coast where it rots and creates an unpleasent smell, nobody cleans this. The sandy beach also servs as a garbage can because it is covered with used cigarettes and other stuff. On top of that every single day of our stay we were stung by a jellyfish at least once.
