When in Skodar i suggest you rent a bike and visit this bridge. It's beautiful to see and wander up, over and around. If you visit from Skodar I recommend going to the eastside of the river. This is very easy to do when you leave the city centre of Skodar you go up a small bridge and at the roundabout go right. This way it's more safe, due to less traffic and you'll see a lot more of the riverbed and surroundings. You'll also pass the leaking Waterbridge. When at the bridge you can walk over but also go under on both sides. Locals will be swimming, relaxing and hanging out there. So you can do it too! But be careful the water is very cold as it comes from the mountains and it's all rocks. Please enjoy yourself, but respect nature and take your trash with you. You can park your bike or car on the westside of the bridge, there's a small parking. Liked this review? Please click the thumbs up button 👍. When in Albania follow me for more (budget) experiences and tips!

A beautiful historical bridge, I could say it’s one of the most beautiful bridge I have ever visited, although I have seen many beautiful bridge in different European cities like Prague, Paris, etc…But this bridge is different. It is small, not much decoration, fully stone and I guessed it is only for pedestrians or horses in the old time because it’s rocky. It locates in a small town with stunning green view to the mountain; the water level was very low when I visited (in Nov), couldn’t see the water flow under it…It brought the peaceful vibe and I loved it a lot. I rode a bike from city center, was nice experience you should try.

Not a drop of moving water July2024, but still impressive and very accessible old stone bridge. 10mins from the town center (annoying speed bumps every 500m), a bit oddly smelly around the bridge (stagnant water) but good photos. Definitely not a must-see, but if you're on the way to Venice Mask Factory (which you should be), easy to add this in. The bridge is not scary high and is real stable, been grouted and fixed over the centuries (the 'modern' bridge beside looks worse, big heavy trucks over it). Free parking, free to climb on, take 10 minutes.

It's nice. Parking next to the bridge off the main road is easy and free. Takes about 5 mins to walk a loop of the old bridge and the new bridge so you can take photos from most angles. The best angle, however, is from the river bank. There's a path down, but it's overgrown so you'd have to go through the bushes a bit, clamber over some rocks, if you want to get the amazing picture that's on the front cover of Bradt
