The Valbonë–Theth viewpoint peak was one of the true highlights of our hike. It’s that magical spot just before the final descent into Theth (or the last push up from Theth, depending on your direction). Standing there, you feel like you're floating above the world—surrounded by dramatic peaks, deep valleys, and endless mountain layers fading into the distance.
We took our time here. The light was beautiful, the air was fresh, and the sense of achievement was strong. It’s not just a viewpoint—it’s a place that invites you to stop, breathe, and really feel the power of the Albanian Alps. The view was amazing, even though there isn’t really a good spot to rest on the peak. I’d recommend stopping for a drink at the little wooden restaurant. After that, it takes about 30 minutes and a steep climb to reach the top. The views were amazing and a lot of the hike is in the shade, which makes things easier. I would absolutely hike here again. We went with 4 bottles of water, some nuts and hiking sneakers, which was just fine. There are also 3-4 spots where you can get...
