Pros. A wonderful overall clean zoo. I will strongly recommend it to whomever visits Jijel. Plenty of spots to sit in a family. The water art through the park falling into a central lake made the charm of this zoo. Many animals up close and near to each other, so no too long walking required.

Cons. Lack of directions towards the animals, so animals just get you by surprise, like the tiger, lion and bear. Some info plates are worn, so you can't read about the animal. Some animals don't have corresponding info. The bear, very important in any zoo, is located last in a row, so it's easy to miss. Animals deserve more publicity. Each time we visit Jijel we have to go to this Zoo. The Zoo is situated in a huge area, besides having the possibility to admire many different animals, they also offer a game area for children with trampolins for example. Different restaurants and small snackbars offer fast food of all kinds like Pizzas, Burgers and grilled fish and meat. You can easily pass half the day in the compound. Kids are really enjoying the park as there is so much to see...
