Plage Ravin des Lions (La Carrière) — Attraction in Skikda

Very nice small beach. It’s within a big bay so doesn’t get rough water. Family friendly and easy swim for little ones. The parking is very limited so plan to be there before 10am (100DA). There are many restaurants and coffee shops but I recommend to bring your food and water with you. There are also simple but clean toilets and showers (40DA). There’s a nice trail from the beach to almost Skikda downtown. For swimming, I recommend you bring snorkeling gears to enjoy the many small nearby islands. Très agréable. accessible par vehicule par une route etroite. Le parking en bas est petit et est saturé rapidement. Le stationnement se fait alors au bord de la route, possibilité de se retrouver un peu loin de la plage (montée au retour tres rude notamment pour personnes âgées). Une plage tres propre avec une vue magnifique. Elle s'étend à droite de l'entrée pour une seconde plage qui est cachée du soleil rapidement l'après midi (par montagne), excellente pour personnes qui évitent le soleil. Protection civile et gendarmerie presents durant saison estivale, douche et wc (payants) disponibles (dans le parking). Des kiosques qui vendent boissons et du fast food....
