Tamarro Caldes — Attraction in Escaldes-Engordany

We did the route of Brujas for this Tamarro. I found it the most challenging of all routes. It's 3 km, a lot of going up at first, then all the way down, very sharp descend, at some point I questioned myself if we were really on a children's route. There are stations for games every 200-300 meters on ascend. Once you made your way down from forest, the way back is on wide main track, there are no games. We wanted to do the one of the witches but we were told it was going to be too much for our 3 year old, so will do it another year. En la carretera que porta a Engolasters i poc abans d'arribar-hi, hi ha l'aparcament de les Fonts (de pagament) i un petit estacionament a la dreta (per mitja dotzena de cotxes) d'on surt el camí de les Fonts que haurem de seguir. Una vegada superada una font i abans d'entrar en un túnel cal deixar el camí planer per un petit corriol que surt a mà esquerra; tot seguit es veu a en CALDES sobre un lloc ben emboscat. Tot plegat uns 10 minuts. Al costat del Tamarro hi ha un bloc de pedra gran amb una bonica cita d'en Jacint Verdaguer. Des d'aquí es pot tornar directament al camí principal i ja es pot veure el mirador de les Fonts escales amunt. ATENCIÓ: en el Google Maps aquests dos indrets estan fora de lloc; en CALDES està per sobre del mirador i no al revés com sembla...
