It’s a good illustration of how we slavery took our best brothers and sisters, how the colonizers massacred our people, how they brainwashed us to believe that they religion was superior to our believes in god and our ways to communicate with us, I personally started not to like it this Musium after realizing that, we don’t need to be reminded that we suffered in the past, it’s been done, Ok we moved on from that, instead they should remind us how powerful are we, how can we achieve greatness through our ways, how we came up with a lot of the things the world uses, but anyways we are far behind from wake up from this invisible blanket that makes us...

Admission fee: 500kz per person.

Visited the Small Slave Museum with my family. Located in a historically significant area, the museum offers a poignant glimpse into the harrowing realities of slavery and its impact on society.

As I entered the museum, each exhibit was thoughtfully curated, showcasing artifacts and documents that brought the past to life. I was particularly moved by the section dedicated to the resilience and strength of enslaved individuals, highlighting their struggles and triumphs. It is...

This is a museum telling the history of slavery. It's a rather small building, and you can cover all the exhibition in less than half an hour. All the explanation are in Portugese language, so it will be challenge for non-portugese to understand them.

While you are here, do have a look at the great arts for sale at the nearby art market.

Or, you can opt to take a boat trip across to the beautiful Mussulo island. Boat ride is just 10...
