Our favorite beach during our Caribbean cruise. Sand is powdery and almost has a hint of pink. About 15 minutes from the port and $5 each way in an air conditioned taxi van. We booked a snorkel tour with Harbour Lights, highly recommend. It’s $35 pp and includes a reserved beach chair, umbrella, and snorkeling near the shipwreck and another spot with turtles. Of course there’s no coral reefs or anything super exotic but it’s fun and good for beginner snorkelers. The Koopa Troopa takes you not far offshore and the first spot above the shipwreck you see mostly fish, some tarpon and cool blue fishes. Second spot is very closeby but we saw 3 turtles underneath and 1 floating on the surface, really exciting. The crew onboard is really helpful and aware of everyone on the boat and come with you in the water and help you find turtles. The Harbour Lights beach club is also very nice, they have a restaurant and some games like cornhole and jenga, bathrooms, etc. Not too many vendors on the beach which made it a more...

Review for Carlisle Bay Beach, Antigua

Carlisle Bay Beach is a stunning slice of paradise. The crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect spot to unwind. During our visit, we watched local fishermen casting their lines right from the shore, and one of them caught a fairly big fish—it was amazing to see such a raw and authentic part of island life in action.

The real highlight, though, was the sunset. The sky lit up with vibrant pink hues, casting a breathtaking reflection on the calm, glassy water. It was one of those picture-perfect moments that felt almost unreal. Whether you're looking to swim, relax, or just take in the beauty of nature, Carlisle Bay Beach is an absolute must-visit in Antigua. Peaceful, picturesque, and...

We had a wonderful time with our 2yo. The resort is incredible, the staff extremely friendly and the amenities are great. The beach is extremely well kept with plenty of loungers, towels, included non-motorized water sports, and efficient food/drink service. There isn't much to do outside the resort and everything is far away, so the best thing to do is plan on spending your entire trip at the resort itself. Although it's pricey, the quality justifies the price. Highly recommended, would go...

You will find there a telephone booth for fun photo ops, a floating bar and plenty of space to relax. 🌴 Shirley Heights Lookout: Ascend to panoramic views and colonial charm at this historic vantage point overlooking English Harbour. It is an iconic spot so definitely not to miss. 🌴 Carlisle Bay Beach: Dive into Caribbean bliss at this idyllic stretch of coastline, perfect for snorkeling and sun-soaked relaxation. This place is more known by locals so if you want to escape crowds here is you place. We visited the island while we were on board @virginvoyages. Many people think that when you are on a cruise you won’t be able to explore places. We drove around almost the entire Antigua and saw so much during the port day. ❓What do you think?
