The watersides were very fun to go on, as there's a great variety of them. I was also happy to see not only a wave pool, and a few pools to relax in, though also a dedicated pool for jumping and diving in. This aquapark/waterpark definitely deserves the accolades it earned over the years of its opening. The kebab sandwich I had for lunch was bigger than I thought it would be. Quite a generous size and quite affordable too in a combo meal. I would definitely want to come back again in the future with friends, as even though it is possible to enjoy your visit here alone, just like almost any other aquapark/waterpark around the world, there are some sides that require at least a minimum of 2 people to go on. Finding a volunteer is possible as long as you do your part to ask and communicate with others. Overall, again, this aquapark/waterpark really deserves the accolades it earned and really worth going again multiple times. Great job staff of Aquapark Istralandia. Keep it up. Thank you for making my day today something I'll never forget. 🙂 Disclaimer: The day I went was on a Friday, so the lines were not very long, I was even surprised to see lines for a few slides had very little to no wait times (especially the Space Rocket drop-launch waterslide).

❌️Unfortunately, after 3 years of visiting, I'm not coming back. What was once the best water park in Croatia, is now an blatant cash grab. ❌️❌️❌️ Wait time for the slides is unbelievable. 45+ min on some and 1h+ on others. The reason is that they expanded the parking lot to be more than double in size and have no capacity limit for the visitors. The more visitors they can cram in, the better. That is why wait times and crowds have exploded compared to a year ago. 💲💲💲Entrance fee is super expensive. 30€ per person. ❌️❌️ The choice of restaurants is diverse, but food in all is AWFUL. Also, it's ridiculously overpriced. If you can, avoid buying food there and instead bring your own sandwiches. ❌️ Staff that was once capable is now totally disinterested because they are understaffed and underpaid. Because of that, once great organization in the park is now nonexistent. ⚠️ A bracelet and a locker for valuables are charged separately! ✅Huge parking in front, so there is no problem finding a place. ✅Inside you have deck chairs for rent, but there is also a LOT of space in the meadows under the trees where you can put towels and things, so you have space and shade. ✅The water in pools is warm, around 29 degrees celsius. ✅Adults can use all slides, while children under 140cm the heights can't use the highest ones. ✅The slides are diverse and exciting if you can manage the wait time. 🙂 Despite the fear, don't miss the 3 biggest water slides, a UNIQUE EXPERIENCE! ✅️ Very nice part for the toddlers. 👎My recommendation is - AWOID. The negatives unfortunately outweigh the positives.

Unfortunately I think the waterpark is riding on the coat tails of last years 2nd best waterpark in Europe. The entertainers were great, and the ones playing with the kids were also great. But some of the other staff had a real attitude problem. The food was so overpriced and you couldn't get a child sized portion of anything. So food went to waste from our 3 year old. The food and drinks didnt taste good at all, really disappointing. For a family with young kids there isn't a lot to do. This is majority big slides for older kids and adults, so for us it was overpriced, however I feel the price would be ok for someone using all of the attractions. Every single thing at this waterpark was monetized. The lockers were very small so no good for a family. They even charged you for ketchup sachets. There was no where to fill up water bottles for drinking, so you had to buy more water. Despite there being a lot wrong with this park (the splash pad was absolutely rubbish and most of it wasnt working , see picture!), we still did have a really enjoyable day. It cost a lot of money altogether for what we got out of it, but the children were happy and so were we. I wouldn't return, and would instead try the other local waterpark. But still we made the most of it and a fun day was had by all in the end!

BEST AquaPark I’ve been too !!! Staff were very friendly, the park was very clean and service from staff was excellent!!! We had so much FUN at this aqua park. We paid for a cabana for the day which I recommend. It was our base as we went around park. The sun beds are also extra but you can always lay on the grass free of charge. This aqua park has something for everyone. The longest we waited to get on a slide was 20 minutes but it was worth it and lines are always moving. They have activities like the Zumba and at the end of the day they do a foam party which was so much fun. Get your cameras and videos ready ! The only downside was the wait for this pizza. I recommend you get the toasted sandwiches which are much quicker ! Highly recommend this aqua park for a fun day out with the family. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (ranging from 10 to 13) and this was one of our favourite days in Istria !!!

It is a fantastic place to spend time with a child. We spent the whole day there (and would probably have stayed longer if they hadn't closed the facility). There are many different types of slides and pools for older and younger visitors. There's also a special pool (3m deep) where you can jump into the water from 3 platforms placed at different heights. Everyone will find something for themselves. On-site, you can rent sun loungers with umbrellas or spread out on a blanket on the grass under a tree. There are several food outlets in the water park with various meals, such as burgers, pizza, and others. You can only pay by card within the facility. By buying tickets online, we received a discount of 2 EUR off each ticket. The only downside is the queues for the slides, especially for those where you slide on inflatable rafts (the number of available rafts could be higher).

The place is just magical. Free parking, affordable prices of food and non alcohol drinks, souveniers...after you buy ticket the rides are free to enjoy. Some rides do have longer lines than others so prepare to wait anywhere between 5-45 min. If you don't like waiting in lines, the best ride in park is always line-free. Note to yourself: it's about 30m high slide atraction. Or you can swimm in pool with waves or use massage pool. Fod small children there is nice and fun looking pool they will love! I recommend you catch some shade, plenty of sun screen lotion and rent yourself locker that has electronic wrist key you can submerge in water. Belive me, you will have so much fun, those 8 hours will pass very quickly! Writing this little review made me miss Istralandia so much... 🥲

Istralandia is a water park in Brtonigla municipality, Istria County, Croatia. It is located near the road that leads from Novigrad to Nova Vas, approximately 5 km from the Adriatic Sea. Opened for visitors in June 2014, it was the first Croatian water park. Istralandia water park covers the area of 81,000 m².
