Most definitely one of the best views from El Chalten. This trail is about 3700 feet up and over 5 miles long. I didn't quite go to the very top, but you don't have to for the best views in my opinion. Even though it was terrible weather on the way up, the clouds began to break and the sun shown through just before sunset. You never know what the weather in patagonia will be so bring lots of layers. All in all it took about four hours round trip with an extra hour or so at the top. Probably the best, accessible but not easy, view in the this part of the park! You can see Cerro Torre (hidden in clouds), Laguna Torre (center with the campground below it in the greener trees), and Mount Fitz Roy (breaking from the clouds...

Out of the three main trails (Torre, fitz roy, tumbado), it is very close to the fitz roy in difficulty. So it's like the second hardest but not by much. There are two Miradors and the top. The higher one requires 30-60min extra steep hill but gives a 360° view of the area. Definitely worth it. Lot of people warn about the wind, maybe I got lucky on the weather but it really wasn't that bad. A small windbreaker was enough. No need for big boots or sticks either. Watch out for the cows tho, I accidentally got too close to a baby and mama wasn't happy. Tried charging me. Would...

Demanding trek but not impossible. The ascent begins from the "Los Glaciares" National Park. The trails are signposted. To get to the "viewpoint of Pliegue Tumbado" you must travel 10 km uphill, the last 4km are the most difficult. You can do an additional 2 km to get to "Loma del Pliegue Tumbado". You will cross a beautiful forest, in which you will be able to find cows and diverse vegetation. I went in the fall and the colors make the tour even more beautiful. I suggested starting with less difficult treks before doing this trek, especially if you are not used to this type of activity. It is important to take into account how much wind there is, because this could make the climb more difficult. It is also ideal to choose a clear day to...
