We bought tickets in advance. Take a look at their website because there are a lot of promotional discounts. I'd suggest to get both tickets and parking in advance.
The park is very tidy and taken care of. Animals have a lot of space to move 'freely' (well, yeap, this is a grey issue).
The aquarium is very good! Lots of species, including sharks.
The Bengal tigers were definitely my favorite. There are 2 of them and it is very fun to see them interact. You can also see flamingos, monkeys, pelicans, ostriches, lemurs, bats, pumas, and lots of other species.
There are a variety of food places all across the park. Although there is a sign that you should not go in with food or beverages, no one controls anything. Moreover, pretty much everyone goes in with food and beverages.
The whole visit may take between 3 and 5 hours, depending on your own regulation of speed (and lunch)
Bathrooms are OK.
Overall, it was a very fine day and experience. I'd recommend it, especially...
Read moreNeeds improvement: Public transportation access and has not had so since at least 2015. Let‘s get it on the way now. 10 years later and Temaiken administration still is playing dumb about their ignoranve, lost business when potential visitors are unable to access their otherwise beautiful place. Bad: tickets only available online; Bad: discounts only available online; Bad: no cash payments accepted; Bad: no tickets, you can‘t enter park; Bad: the administration of this park is backwards, not forward thinking adhering to a never been successful business model which is: we have less visitors so lets raise prices(in the process scaring away the one‘s who can no longer afford higher fees. Too many food vendors, fast food joints are always closed, why even wadte the space with something not used? Only crappy unhealthy fast food offerings, Food too expensive, drinks are a disaster only crappy american unhealthy drinks no...
Read moreOriginal, nice, good selection of animals, all in top condition, and activities. Beautifully manicured parks and enclosures. Many helpful, courteous and knowledgeable young staff. There is much to see and enjoy. It is a shame though that there is no printed map or plan. I was told to scan a QR code and download the app. This I eagerly did, but after installing it found that the so called map or plan of the installations and attractions was pathetic. Unintelligible (I also speak native Spanish so language is not a problem) and no help at all. Fortunately, there are many signposts, and helpful staff, but I know that we missed many attractions simply because we couldn't find them. The 360° Cinema is a good idea with a worthwhile message, but it was a pity that the movie was completely out of focus. Would I go back? Definitely yes! (But I hope somebody takes note of my comments...
