FREE ARTURO: The Polar Bear In Despair

We as a united world are coming to you to do the humane thing and set Arturo the polar bear at the Mendoza Zoo free – to stop keeping him enslaved in a concrete cell where the extreme heat of your country and the poor and inappropriate living conditions in which he resides, which are taking a toll upon his well-being and his health.

We are requesting that you provide the medical records needed so that a transfer permit can be issued to get ARTURO to an animal sanctuary – where he will be able to receive the medical attention that he is in dire need of and have his basic needs met for a happier and fulfilling life.

Countless people have cried and pleaded with you for quite some time to do the honorable thing, but you and the officials at the Mendoza Zoo seem to be turning a blind eye to what is happening to the innocent soul, ignoring the signs and putting your own pride before the welfare and well being of this animal – and it is a shame that such a beautiful country would do such a disgraceful thing to a magnificent being.

We, humanity, will no longer stand for our voices to go ignored and unheard – We will continue to RAISE OUR PAWS and voices until you finally do the act of compassion and set free this life that is slowly dying in your hands, a life that can be saved if only you would open your hearts and give him a chance for a better life then what he has now.

Do not let an innocent life perish due to your own personnel feelings or intentions – you must think about the best interest of this animal, as we are by requesting that you set him free – together we can show the greatness of our nation, and it is up to you to take the next step in raising your paw to show that life is important and should not...

This zoo like all others disgust me! When are they going to learn, especially the tourists visiting?! How can you all sleep at night? You had the opportunity to move poor Arturo to a better place but made excuses! Any life left in him no matter how old he was was still better spent elsewhere. I can't believe how many years he had been cooped up in that confinement of his! And the state of him too, dirty and clearly distressed! You can make excuses all you want saying how he was 'looked after' and I noticed in some videos he was being sprayed down with a hose to keep him cool in the torturous heat, did you honestly think that was good enough? Arturo should have been in his natural habitat, what a waste of life! You should all be ashamed, let this hopefully be your...

ALL zoos are sick and despicable. ALL the animals will eventually die a lonely horrible death in captivity. Zoos are nothing but miserable jails for animals. Human criminals live in better conditions than animals in zoos. Our world is so sick it is disheartening. Your polar was so miserable and still all you can see are dollar signs!! What kind of soulless person puts an animal from the Arctic climates to hot Argentina!!! Zoos are just the beginning. People's fur trim jackets, so-called farm animals in nightmarish slaughterhouses... one evil is not lesser than the other evil but what you did to Arturo is mortifying. SHAME ON YOU. .. and shame on anyone supporting zoos...
