Pulenta Estate — Attraction in Mendoza

Go, go, go now! What a lovely surprise addition to our wine tasting tour in Mendoza. Beatiful estate, lovely views and tasting room and the tour was not too long, which I prefer. Our awesome driver/tour guide/wine connoisseur recommended Pulenta so we went and had the premium 4-red wine tasting, which became really 6 because we started with a lovely rose during the tour and the sommelier added in one of their top premium malbecs at the end. We signed up for a last-minute visit to Pulenta Estate and were lucky enough to be hosted by Maria—what an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Maria was warm, welcoming, and so attentive. Her knowledge of the wines, the history of the estate, and the region truly elevated the entire tasting.

Out of the four wineries we visited during our time in Mendoza, Pulenta Estate was hands-down our favorite, and Maria played a huge part in that. Her passion for what she does comes through in every detail, and she made us feel right at home.

While I have not actually visited this particular winery, I thoroughly enjoy their wines here in Austin, Texas. I find them incredibly rich, complex, and incredibly satisfying to drink. They pair very well with hardy meats, tomato based dishes, and stews. They are all characterized by a strong nose and vibrant mouth feel with juicy notes and the region strongly coming through the wine.
