I don't think I can give this winery enough praise. It was our favourite by a very long way after spending a week in Mendoza's wine regions. I cannot thank all of the staff enough. We had made a reservation for 11 but then (we thought we had) moved it to 12 and there was some confusion over this... all were extremely polite at us being so late! We initially had a tour and tasting - the winery was wonderful, every single wine we tried was wonderful, the lady who gave us the tour was great. All of the staff working there at the time (great to see it in action!) were also very polite and friendly. The winery itself is very unique to others due to the garage-feel, but the wines are absolutely exquisite - my favourite was the gran reserva merlot (which is unusual for me!) and my husband's was the reserva malbec. We stayed to have lunch at the wonderful on-site restaurant which I believe is run by one of the sons - the whole winery has a lovely family feel to it. The setting is in their beautiful garden, where they actually grow some of the ingredients! The meal was probably the best meal we had in all of Argentina - multiple courses, multiple wines and again the staff were absolutely excellent. The service was 10/10. The meat was perfect. When it came to pay - we thought we were paying for the tasting, then the lunch and we were planning a generous tip for both but this was turned down and it seems the lunch price covered all, which also makes it much more than good value! Thank you so much to all there for such a wonderful experience. Please one day export the wine to the UK!

Firstly, I love Laureano's wines, he's an exceptional enologist, but the lunch service was new. It looked basic online but I went for it. We went on a holiday and were the only two people there. They made everything just for us with the greatest of smiles. The lunch area is austere, but the food was EXTRAORDINARY, the empanadas were among the best I've tried, the meat was delicious and the dessert was innovative and tasty. Wines were awesome as always, especially the reserve. Laureano came to say hello and gave us some tips. After all these years he's still humble and awesome, we were grateful. Of course, we took a box with us home, but the grand reserve, which you don't get to taste, but from previous experiences (we've had many) we know they will be beyond amazing. Thank you Bodega Laureano!

***Edit to the review....we enjoyed the wine so much we did go back the next day for another bottle*** We loved this small family winery. We stopped in unannounced and, even though they were technically closed for tours (because it was the first day of harvest), we were graciously given a wonderful wine tasting. We tried the Pinot Noir, Malbec and the Merlot....all straight from the barrel. All varieties were excellent. We opted to purchase the Laureano Gomez Gran Reserva 2014 blend of Malbec and Merlot. We just enjoyed it with our dinner and I have to say, it was fantastic! They also have a new restaurant on site called Hamacas. The steak they were cooking looked delicious. We really enjoyed both the hospitality and the wine from Laureano Gomez and can't recommend it highly enough!
