Lo recomiendo fervientemente, no dejen de llegar a Cafayate y de allí hasta esta maravilla, desde el mirador Los Castillos se observa el Río Las Conchas transitar por el valle. Se regocija el Alma, no se vayan de este mundo sin contemplar está MARAVILLA

Hermoso lugar. Como toda la quebrada entre Salta y Cafayate. Vale la pena parar en cada una de las formaciones indicadas. Respetar y leer los carteles es importante para saber y cuidar. En el mirador los castillos hay lugar para parar el auto y algunas mesas y bancos para sentarse.

Ubicado en la Quebrada de las Conchas, los Castillos es una serie de imponentes acantilados de arenisca que se asemejan a castillos. Los acantilados están formados por rocas sedimentarias que se depositaron durante millones de años. La roca ha sido erosionada por el viento y el agua, creando unas formas dramáticas.

El paisaje es impresionante y se aprecia mejor por la tarde cuando el sol da directo. Se puede caminar hasta la base de los acantilados o tomar unas fotos desde el mirador al codtado de la ruta donde hay un par de mesas y...
