I Am Very Angry And Disappointed In This Park And Especially The Staff Who Run It!

Back on Friday, March 17, 2017, I hitchhiked to this park since I do Not have a lot of money and I am also a Tourism Promoter for Argentina and La Pampa with Tripadvisor and Google websites.

Before going out to visit the park, I went to the local park office out in General Acha, La Pampa to speak with Florencia and another staff member about getting any free transportation to the park because supposedly there is a van that goes there from General Acha, La Pampa Argentina on a weekly basis and sadily I was told that it does Not happen anymore if that is even true.

Not only that, but I also asked them if they can provide me with a free place to stay, or even a tent or sleeping bag and that was Refused as well!

Anyway, when I got to the park today being Friday, March 17, 2017, I went to the Lihuel Calel National Park office to register and spoke with Maria about having somebody show me around including seeing the paintings on the rocks and that was also Refused as well!

They must have had about 20 employees just sitting around doing Nothing with only a Few Visitors which is the Truth!

All Maria did for ME was give me a big bottle of water which was nice, plus she watched my bags for me while I tried Unsuccessfully to know the place and find the Paintings On The Rocks in which I could Not find.

The trails are so so.

There are signs along the way, but only in Spanish and You really do Not even know which way to turn and as for the Paintings On The Rocks, they were Impossible To Find.

I thought that I found them because during one of the trails, there was a sign that had the word paintings written right on it in Spanish and it pointed towards a direction in which I followed, but could Not Find One Single Painting.

A Majorly Big, Disgusting Disappointment!

Furthermore, I met this couple when I first got there and tried to make a conversation with them, but they Refused to talk to me and later on during my hike, I bumped into them again and they Refused to interact with me or even help me to find the Paintings.

Anyway, when I got back to the park office to get my bags, I spoke with Maria again about Not Being Able To Find The Paintings and her attitude was that she could Not understand Why I could Not find them when everybody else can find them?

Well, if Maria cared so much about my needs and concerns, she would have taken the initiative to take me in her vehicle to find the paintings, but obviously she does Not Care!

This has got to be one of the worst excursions that I have ever been on in Argentina and Yes, I have been to this country at least three (3) times and have always received the Best In Help, but in this case coming from the Lihuel Calel National Park, there is No Available Help, Nor Guides For The Tourists, Or Visitors!

For all of the hard work that I have done for La Pampa Tourism as a Volunteer, this kind of Disgusting Treatment and Abusive Behavior is Totally Unacceptable!

I am Not Recommending This Lihuel Calel National Park to anyone based on my Reasons and Explanations listed above.

Thank you for Nothing!

Sincerely yours,
