Sendero de los Arrayanes — Attraction in Municipio de San Carlos de Bariloche

A truly beautiful and awe inspiring little hike with fantastic views. The star of this half of the track is the stopping point at the Arrayanes Path bit. A short, but gorgeous loop around a set of Arrayanes trees in all their beauty.

There's a wooden walkway guiding that loop for a reason, to preserve the trees' wellbeing. Don't get off to get pictures and trample their roots!

All in all, beautiful experience, and this track connects to several others that can help you get a wonderful sense of this gorgeous Natural Park. I highly recommend continuing after the Arrayanes Path into Moreno Lake (Lago Moreno), then after you exit, take a short right walking alongside the roadway to enter the Roman Bridge (Puente Romano) track to your left all the way down Hidden Lake (Lago Escondido) and Logs' Bay (Bahía de Troncos)! Then you can either retrace your steps, or continue north once you're back at the Roman Bridge to go to Villa Tacul and the trek up Llao Llao Hill (Cerro Llao Llao) that ends up near where the first Arrayanes...

I enjoyed it. It is a huge long trail that connects all the way to Mirador lago moreno (the exit is where it says "information turística". From there you can go right or left on the main road cto chico to puerto Lopez or villa tacul. I recommend to right because the bus terminal is at villa llao llao. It is bus 20 and it stops 10min walk from this park. However, if you take right and visit the other attractions (which are connected by other trails cto chico) then head back left and go to Puerto Lopez (10h20pm is last bus). 12am is last for bus 20. Cost per ride 100 pesos. You can rent a bike (approx 4k), rent a car or take bus (but it does half the loop of cto chico). No bus between terminal bus 20 and puerto Lopez (bus 10 goes the other way around). I spent 1 day using bus 10 and the other bus 20). It is really...

Precioso sendero, los árboles tienen unas formas tan particulares... cada persona que pasaba no paraba de sacarse fotos, espectaculares! Esos árboles son mágicos, dignos ejemplares para historias con duendes y hadas! El barsito que esta en la entrada, la pareja que lo atiende son muy simpáticos y venden unos chipa...!! Impresionantes, deliciosos y calentitos. Increibles, no dejen de pedirlos!! Mi sobrina probó un alfajor triple de chocolate con dulce de leche y se pegó un re viaje jajajaja así que prueben ese también!! Lo que si deja bastante que desear son los baños, ni jabón ni papel, el piso todo mojado y sucio... Otra cosita para mencionar, hay senderos que no están señalizados, pensamos (error nuestro) de que el sendero que habíamos tomado era para ir al Llao Llao, pero no, ese que habíamos tomado nos llevaba al Lago espejo al cual nunca llegamos porque cada persona que pasaba y le preguntaba nos decía faltan 5 min y nunca llegábamos y como ese día viajamos de vuelta a casa, por temor a que se nos hiciera muy tarde, ya que teníamos que caminar todo el regreso, nos terminamos yendo. Eso si, la gente nos dijo que era hermoso, asi que si tienen ganas de caminar y tiempo, vayan que no dudo que valga el tiempo y el esfuerzo! Para el Llao Llao, en el ingreso se abre la calle y empieza a subir, ese los lleva al Llao Llao, me dijeron que tiene una playita muy linda, nos quedó pendiente para la prox. Vayan y disfruten!! Es hermoso!! Recuerden llevar papel y alcohol en gel, y tengan cuidado con las chaquetas, son como abejas (pero carnívoras) aman el jamón, asi que cuidado cuando coman...
