Get ready for a good hike, and watch the path for obsidian. But don't take stones from near the ruins! They are part of the fortress. Follow the path down to St. Astvadsatzin church... we happened to see a lovely wedding while there. Pack a lunch or find a grocery for near picnic the mineral springs outlets... there are several.

Крепость как минимум XI в. (но есть мнение что ещё существенно более ранняя). Сверху открываются панорамные виды на село Бжни. Дорога хорошая, только последние 500 м грунтовка. У подножия холма, на котором расположена крепость, будет развилка - подниматься лучше по правой стороне.

Крепость Бжни, находиться в стороне от туристических маршрутов. Впечатляет история и виды , которые открываются. Маленький музей с артефактами, вкусный кофе с домашними цукатами. Плата за посещение- по желанию!

Description
Bjni Fortress is a medieval Armenian fortress located in the village of Bjni in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. It sits upon the top and along the sides of a mesa that divides the village nearly in half. The larger portion of which is located west of the mesa and curves south, while a smaller portion is east.
